Fashion bloggers are no longer the only ones calling out Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for her unflattering scrunchie habit. Now some of Clinton’s staff members want to “ban” her from wearing the accessory altogether. But should we even be concerned with how Hillary styles her hair?
The staffer’s scrunchie comment was revealed in Rachael Combe’s profile on Clinton in the May issue of Elle magazine. Despite the fact that the article only spent a couple paragraphs discussing Hillary’s fashion sensibilities, those few style tidbits have received significant media attention.
Combe wrote: “When [Clinton’s] on the road, she often has [her hair] pulled back in a simple chignon or ponytail, a look that causes Hillary Hair Watchers much chagrin but merely means she’s pressed for time, as a State Department official told me: ‘As a chick, it’s a big pain in the butt. The weather is different, and you’re in and out of the plane. [The staff] gets off that plane looking like garbage most days, but she has to look camera ready. She said the reason she grew her hair long was that it’s easier. She has options.’ The official added, because, it seems, no American alive can resist critiquing Clinton’s hair: ‘But some of us are looking to ban the scrunchies.’”
We’re not so fond of the scrunchie look ourselves. But is it really important that the Secretary of State also be a fashion icon? We think not.
Yet, as Combe herself added, “Feminists and supporters will often wail for everyone to stop focusing on Clinton’s hair and clothes and listen to her ideas, but that’s sort of a backhanded compliment. (People, she’s too smart to care that she looks like crap.)”
What do you think SodaHeads? Should Hillary Clinton’s staff “ban” her from wearing scrunchies? (As if they actually have that kind of power.)

Yes:
However I am sure the true vile loons get a pass by you. Wise Up.
Examples:
2/ You and your GOP cohorts thinking this kind of stuff is right, just shows how superficial all of you really are.
You really need to learn how to look beyond skin color and body type, and see the person within. Sounds easy right? But for many of you, this is simply impossible.
Again pointing out that you are incorrect. There are beautiful people of every race, religion and political party. Also of every size and shape too. And there are very unattractive people, in all the above too. And here is more for you, MOST people who are truly unattractive, are those oozing this from the inside out. Ugliness comes from within. Someone can look like a beauty queen or movie star, and still be in incredibly ugly and hateful. Again, this comes from within.
Look hard and pay attention, there is more to life and beauty than the shell you see on the outside.
2. You and the Stalin Progressive Liberals are vile nasty hateful violent and racist loons. YOU support Bill Maher, Louis CK, David Letterman, Ed Schultz, Lawrence O'Donnell, Rachael MadCow, Keith Olberamann etc and the nasty names they call Conservative Women.
3. Why are you interjecting SKIN COLOR into this? It appears you can't get past a persons SKIN COLOR dummy. As a Conservative I see the INDIVIDUAL... the HUMAN BEING while YOU LIBERALS only see COLOR.
4. I didn't post anything about Religion DUMMY
Move on DUMMY. I am embarrassed for you making an A** out of yourself. You're a Racist and that is reprehensible!.
There is no possible way to reason with someone with as tiny a mind as you have.
God help you, no one else can.
You're pushing 50 put the kool aid down and grow up.
I'm with the 99%
