Should Hillary Clinton run for president in 2016?

It may have taken her a while, but Hillary Clinton joined Twitter on Monday, right on the heels of a new poll that finds her popularity dipping after stepping down as secretary of State.

The self-described “wife, mom, lawyer, women & kids advocate,” had been noticeably absent from the prominent social network. Her husband, former President Bill Clinton, recently took the family’s spotlight with his own Twitter debut on “The Colbert Report.”

Speculation had recently increased as to why Clinton, who, if she runs for the nomination for president in 2016, is seen as very difficult to beat, hadn't yet dipped her toe into the social media waters. While Clinton has kept a relatively low profile since leaving President Obama’s administration, other groups like “Ready for Hillary” have been keen on bringing their support to a digital audience.

Democrats need a real progressive like Dennis Kucinich to run. We don't need another sell out corporatist like Obama.

Hillary looks tired. I heard she fell and hit her head the other day. Maybe she can help Bill with the foundation now. She had a chance against Obama, and it didn't happen.
    She had a good run.

The last thing this country or (any country in the world) needs is a woman running it. All women are the result of a being that THE DEVIL made with his own two hands as "the LORD God" he had conned into eating from "God's" tree of life by becoming the serpent..EVIL IS WHAT IT BECAME PURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not to mention EVERYTHING women have learned HAS BEEN FROM MEN and guess what? MEN WERE WRONG ABOUT IT ALL!
  • Bud 2013/06/18 22:04:30
Why not? She's a Democrat well versed in misfeasance, malfeasance, incompetence and arrogance, as president she might be better than the present Oval Office occupant--at least she would be a president. Indeed, in view of the 2012 election our limp noodled electorate would probably put her in office.

  • Vinnie Bud 2013/11/23 17:28:41
She will run on the " What Difference does that make" slogan

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would win Florida against both Sen. Marco Rubio and former Gov. Jeb Bush in the 2016 presidential election, a new poll finds.

If the election were held today, Clinton would top Bush 50 percent to 43 percent, and she would best Rubio 53 percent to 41 percent, according to Wednesday’s survey from Quinnipiac.

Actually, I change my vote to Yes. She may be the best chance that the GOP or anybody-but-a-Democrat has to win. If the opposition can't mint electoral gold out of her deficits, they should stay home. The mosh pit of her Benghazi leadership lapses & lack of accountability is one thing. She's also "spoused" to the nation's most recognizable fornicator/philanderer - Dad of the Year Bill. Some opposition wit at some time should juxtapose her faux fidelity against her statements in her (and Bill's) 1992 60-Minutes interview with Steve Kroft. She pledged then that she was no Tammy Wynette-ish stand-by-your-man woman. But after revelations about a string of ponies - named Flowers, Jones, Lewinsky, Willey, Broaddrick (and a few others), the old gray mare was still in harness to the unfaithful nag who brought to the big DC rodeo. Though her "marrying well" should be a thumb in the eye of radical feminists, I'm sure they'll look the other way. Too, the quisling media will be hard at work smelting the marital infidelities and hypocrisies into gold badges of honor and achievement.

Not just no but hell no! Benghazi, Whitewater and the list goes on. She is a disgrace to this country!
  • toots 2013/06/17 17:00:50
Four people died after she and Obama lied.
  • Zoomie toots 2013/06/26 20:07:16
But you almost certainly voted for Dubya, who also lied, and THREE THOUSAND died!!!

And that doesn't even count the hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis!
  • toots Zoomie 2013/07/03 13:43:52
How many people died since O took over? We know that he wouldn't help Syria and there were well over 100,000. In Benghazi, there were an Ambassador, an asst. and two navy seals, We are struggling, and O spend 100 milliion to go to visit his boyhood home, there are more things, including losing our freedoms.
  • MS PRUD 2013/06/16 23:37:11
She was a failure in Benghazi and to make a statement of "what difference does it make is asinine. Then with her people have prostitutes and kids in for these men to screw is too much for me. She is a slime ball without any credit to run for dog catcher.

  • keith_loney 2013/06/15 21:35:03
No! We don't need another radical Communist disguised as a Democrat. The whole Democratic Party platform is pure radical communism.
We need a conservative Republican (or other third party if necessary) to reverse the damage done by the communist dictatorship we're stuck with now.
  • Thomas 2013/06/15 21:05:25
she is a really good candidate now and highly qualified
  • Ramón 2013/06/15 01:10:32
Why not? Bill ran for his interns, so Hillary can run for president.
  • HipJipC 2013/06/14 07:30:43
Sure, why not?! We're done screaming about old men and now black men, why not put a woman in there to scream about and blame everything on. Seriously doesn't matter what sex, color, race or whatever the next puppet is. Really doesn't matter if they have a real or fake birth certificate. It's all a f*cking sham!
  • Zoomie 2013/06/14 05:50:55
She's well qualified, and better than anything the GOP have to offer...
  • barry e... Zoomie 2013/06/23 13:40:02

  • Zoomie barry e... 2013/06/26 20:09:31

meanwhile, Republicans are doing a great job running us into hell on earth...
