Should George Zimmerman Receive The Same Type Of Justice Travon Martin Received ?

The tensions over the slaying of Florida teenager Trayvon Martin has spawned threatening online comments with one Twitter user going so far as to create the hashtag @KillZimmerman, an example of postings that authorities have apparently not acted on.

A Twitter account called @KillZimmerman was created March 24 in which the user posted a photo of Zimmerman in the cross hairs of a gun. A quote on the account user’s Twitter page reads: RiP “This Page Is 4 Da Ppl Who Believe Zimmerman Should Be Shot Dead In The Street The Same Way TRAYVON Was. No Justice No Peace #KillZimmerman.”

The owner of the @KillZimmerman account wrote 454 tweets from March 24 to March 28 and, as of Friday afternoon, it had 463 followers. ABC reached out to the owner of @KillZimmerman via a tweet, but he or she did not respond to a request for comment. Despite outrage across the blogosphere, the account has not been taken down or suspended.

He should get a fair trial and his fate should lie in the hands of a jury.

Travon was a thug and his death should be celebrated as to having stopped innocent people in the future from being harmed.

Trayvon Martin, it turns out, was no angel and was, in fact, a total dirtbag. Zimmerman may have done society a favor by eliminating a potential gangbanger.

You might want to check both sides before judging. Zimmerman had a history including assaulting a police officer and restraining order for domestic violence from a former girlfriend, which is far worse than Martins of graffiti.

The witness saw Martin on top of Zimmerman not who started it and under the stand your ground law Martin had the right to defend himself when being stalked same as woman would macing a man that was following her.
Yes Al and the gang went overboar but, this case would never have been investigated if public outcry had not demanded it.

You are suggesting that Zimmerman be killed... there was no Pre-meditation in this issue. If the jury finds him guilty, we will do time... only!!

His time in prison will be far worse than a quick kill. If he is found guilty of Murder 2 the inmates will have their way with him. Hell, he couldn't even take a 17 year old kid in hand to hand combat. What a punk ass.

Che, you are openly, and blatantly, trying to condone murder. And by the tone of your post, it would seem you are also condoning conspiracy to commit murder. You really need to start thinking before you touch the keyboard. Just a thought....
George Zimmerman will be, and SHOULD BE, afforded due process. There will, in all likelihood, be a trial, and his fate will be decided by a jury of his peers.

Wrong Again. I only want George Zimmerman to receive the same type of justice that Trayvon Martin received.

Don't banter semantics. You know exactly what you were trying to convey with your post. All it does is make you look like a vengeful fool, completely ignorant of the facts. George Zimmerman hasn't even gone to trial, but in your mind, he's already been convicted. You've let your twisted liberal fantasies take over your sense of reality. You have my pity.

Zimmerman doesn't smoke pot and steal. I doubt he needs anything but a medal for stopping a future thug from harm.

I agree the tone of this whole post is scary. I bet this post has already gotten the attention of authorities itself. What happens if Zimmerman walks? White people being dragged from their cars and beaten to death with pipes? More race riots? What the hell is a White Hispanic anyway OH NO KILLER RACISTS

I am sorry, but it is questions like this one that is causing blacks to attack whites and say this is justice for Trayvon. Not helping.

I do believe there is a bit more to the story than we've heard - I have to admit - if I were waking around at night heading back to my uncles house - and some guy was stalking me with a loaded weapon - I might have feel that I have to fight for my klife as well.....poor kid - must have been scared half out of his mind

poor "kid" walking around suspiciously after dark in the rain, probably didn't even know the guy that he attacked had a weapon.

Better to keep our hands clean than dirty them with his blood. Let the legal system deal with him and hope we get justice.

I have to say honestly I would not be comfortable passing judgement on a person without knowing exactly what took place and it is my opinion that if you weren't there then you don't know so can you really condemn someone to death without accurate facts?

Only because I do not believe in the death penalty. Although, I do believe he should pay the absolute maximum for his crime. He should have all his guns taken away from him, and he should be blocked from ever purchasing another one, or face a minimum of ten more years for each offense. He should also spend a couple years in service to social justice groups and intensive therapy to remove all racial prejudices from his very warped mind!

BTW: even if Zimmerman were to get the death penalty, it would not be the same justice that Trayvon Martin got, as Travon Martin was never given the benefit of a fair trial, he was just murdered in cold blood.

Depends on who threw the first punch. If Zimmerman did I’d say put a needle in his arm? If Martin did then he got what he deserved.

Okay - so its dark out and youre just a kid heading back to your uncles house - some crazy guy is stalking you with a loaded weapon - he comes at you with a loaded gun - you're not going to try to save your life? Poor kid - was just walking around - seems to me that he might have been scared of this person who was following him
