They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. 32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.
I'm not a hypocrite. Maybe you're just a sicko if you think an abusive or adulterous marriage should last. And personally, no, I do not believe in interracial marriage.
And I think you shouldn't pretend to know the Bible as one following and learning from God. If you're going to TRY to use the Bible against me, know your resources. God doesn't often look favorably on divorce unless there is violence or infidelity involved. He also commands us to obey man's laws, and since it seems you already knew all this apparently, current laws exist to protect spouses from abuse and adultery.

I think it's interesting to hear the histories of different people. :) But it seems that in this day and age, people have become such a complex mixture of different races and cultures that they no longer have one that's purely THEIRS. I am a Christian, and my faith holds that traditional marriage is between a man and a woman. Those are my beliefs and I'm sticking to it. And because my faith doesn't allow for any other marriage than between a man and woman, I really don't care who "invented" it or practiced it first. It seems to have an interesting history, but that's all.
