You have to show ID in Missouri to vote.

It doesn't have to be a picture ID (i goggled it to be sure) but you do need Some form of ID

Obama got to be President without showing any I D evidence at all. When I was sent to Vietnam I didnt even need a passport to enter the country,,we used rifles instead. I think eventually all it will take to enter the U S will be a rifle. All it will take to vote will be the approval of the Black Panthers standing at the polling station door.

Let's see, you have to show a driver's license with a photo ID or another form of picture ID to get a loan, cash a check, buy cigs and alcohol. Most States have photo driver licenses----for all legal drivers. That's racist? For people who don't or are unable to drive, most states offer photo IDs----because so many transactions require picture IDs. that's racist? Hell, in North Carolina you can even set up a personal appointment to get an ID; that's to accommodate people with disabilities. Guess that's racist, too? Most college students have picture ID---Racist! High schools are largely going to picture IDs for security reasons...Yeah, obviously racist move there. Yeah, most people have 'em---even the poorest of drivers, college students, et. al. Now, maybe if we required dead voters to produce a zombie ID, that would be racist, what with all this "ashes to ashes, dust to dust" stuff. I mean what does it matter what color dust and ashes are??

Not just Florida, every state. You need a license to drive, an ID for a room, rent a car, buy a plane ticket, no reason in the world why you should be able to vote without an ID.

Why? When there are still people in this country that are so old that they have no record of them even being born. Are you implying that students, elderly people, minorities and poor people are too stupid to get an i.d.? If they are eligible to vote and don't bother to get the proper id required, they are too lazy to vote. That's the simple truth.

Agreed, somebody had to show some I.D.s to get all those student loans, EBT cards, social security and medicare payments. Real or fake -- I.D.s were used. Why is it an issue around Election Day?

Students already have ID's, and ID must be shown to be admittted to hospital, to donate blood, to write a check, to do a long list of things. I have a friend who is legally blind, and she has an ID...............

You have to carry a license to drive or fish or hunt or carry a concealed weapon. To me, Voting safely and sans fraud is MORE important than ALL of those things.

I saw Governor Scott discussing the law on television. It is very fair and no honest person should object to it.

Anything less is inviting Fraud, and therefore should be illegal without any further laws. Of course the debt-o-crats WANT voter fraud, since that's how they've won any election they HAVE won for the past 100 years or so...

Ignore spurious, false arguments against doing what is required to cash a check, file for welfare or SNAP, rent a video, get on a plane or train, or rent an apartment should be used to vote. Show ID to exercise your right to vote - as long as you are entitled to do so.

Everybody should have to verify with ID before voting. What is so darned hard about understanding that? You need an ID for just about anything you want to do anymore, and usually there are no complaints. Why all of a sudden are folks getting so riled up about something so fundamental as wanting to verify that you are authorized to vote when voting is such an important right in this country? Good grief, get over the stupidity and get the ID. Sheesh.

THE ENTIRE FRIKKIN' U.S. SHOULD REQUIRE POSITIVE I.D. BEFORE VOTING!! There is only ONE reason that someone or group would protest against that, and that IS to commit voter fraud.
If someone can receive a one day sale flyer from Macy's and be there bright and early waiting at the doors the next morning for the store to open, then there's no reason ya can't make it to get signed up to vote. Local, state, and federal elections serve notice way in advance, so don't even bring that, "I don't have a ride" argument to the table. Our presidential election is in November, you have 5 months!!

Requiring ID to vote is common sense, which is probably why the WH and DOJ oppose it - they lack common sense.

But Liberals are desperately needing that illegal vote block since their master has steadily alienated most of his other voting blocks.
