Should conscientious objectors be eligible for the child immunisation bonus?

In Australia, once your 4 year old child has received all their scheduled immunisations the family will receive a financial bonus from the government. This payment was designed to encourage families to immunise their children, however after complaints of discrimination by "conscientious objectors" the government has decided that all they need do to receive the payment is complete a form & they too will get the cash payment.

Personally I think this is absurd & even though I don't have school aged children I am Going to complain to my MP that the new school child assistance payments are discriminatory & I should be able to fill out a form to be able to get the money!

If you choose to expose you child to communicable diseases & increase the risk of my child contracting these diseases even though they are immunised then you should not be eligible for the payment!

If you feel that strongly then don't be a hypocrite & demand money set aside for people who protect their children!
