I'm not looking for polling data lol. It's pretty simple.

Yes, they should keep there tax exempt status

No, they should not keep there tax exempt status.

This comes from an argument that I have witnessed on the internet as well as have had with friends. Was just looking for opinions, since this is an opinion website. Quit over thinking things.

you question is should churches lose their tax excempt status. if you answer yes then they keep it and if you vote no they lose it

in order to give your correct answer that you want you need to overthink it or you are voting yes when you mean no..

That would be correct if the awnsers were simply yes and no. Then I would agree with your point. However I clearly defined what yes meant as well as what no meant. I understand if you think I was skewing poll results, but I'm just a 25 year old Alabama retail worker lol.

Now, your just being an ass. I kindly explained it to you and the answers are clearly defined. If you want to read into it then that is your problem not mine. Everyone else seems to be taking it for what it's worth.....

As well you also had another option of OTHER which you clearly ignored....

Before the 1960s when the Democrats impossed these unrighteous L:aws no one had even thought of it.

Most of their money comes from congregational member income that has already been taxed. There may be fund raising activities that are questionable as perhaps outright retailing or receiving funds from outside the congregation.

I support a flat tax where there are no tax exemptions, tax credits or tax loopholes and every American pay the same tax rate.

There are many that should lose that status, but not all. Superchurches, churches that that contribute to political campaigns or legislation changes, churches where the pastors are telling people how to vote....absolutely! But I believe there are probably some churches still around that don't get involved in politics, and actually spend time helping the community...those shouldn't be punished for the actions of others.

If they are becoming lobbyists for certain causes,( pretty obvious they are) they are making political issues a part of their tenets. As such, they should be taxed.
