religious freedom is about the baby's religion. I don't see how he can have one at that age...
Baby have the right, like any other human, of body integrity

Circumcision has been a religious tradition for many years, but has often been the subject of controversy because of the effect it could potentially have on children. On Tuesday, a German court ruled that child circumcision can be classified as "grievous bodily harm." The issue went to court when a 4-year-old boy began bleeding profusely as the result of a circumcision. Naturally, religious communities that practice circumcision are upset.
The court ruled, "[The] fundamental right of the child to bodily integrity outweighed the fundamental rights of the parents ... The religious freedom of the parents and their right to educate their child would not be unacceptably compromised, if they were obliged to wait until the child could himself decide to be circumcised."
In response, the head of the Central Committee of Jews said the ruling is "an unprecedented and dramatic intervention in the right of religious communities to self-determination ... [an] outrageous and insensitive act. Circumcision of newborn boys is a fixed part of the Jewish religion and has been practiced worldwide for centuries."

Education can be change, hygiene if you really want. Anything they teach you, you can undo them
Not circumcision
Loving others people is an action you do. Doesn't change my life at all
There may be benefits, but there's also problems. So it's to the person who will live with either side to chose the side
The Bible explicity commands Jewish parents to cricumcise their son on the eighth day. It's a fundamental part of Judaism.
Freedom of religion is for yourself, doesn't allow you to do anything to others people
Is that what you want?
Judaism can conflict with whatever they want, they just can't win
Religion can't stop peoples rights
And if you want to have a conflict with Judaism, go right ahead.
Just one piece of advice: check history out before you do that, and see what happens when people make war on Judaism.
You will follow the law like everyone else. We wouldn't let you kill people just because your religion would say so.
You only won when others people won it for you, and it was because others were even worse
At least you are doing one thing right.
And you are how old?
You have experienced so much in your short lifetime that you can decide what is 'WRONG' for SOMEONE ELSE'S child, but they aren't fit to decide what is 'RIGHT' for THEIR OWN CHILD? Grow up. Everyone has an opinion, but most are based on experience not just, "I think this, but I haven't experienced anything yet".
I don't care about people having others opinions, as long as it stays on their body
You would be against putting tatoo on a baby right? They could think it's the right thing
The ancient Greeks were of the same opinion.
We all know what happened to them.
Because you see, the Jews fought against this philosophy once, and won.
You do NOT want to fight against Judaism.
They don't make law, but yes, I want babies out of bad families, like we do when a father beats his kids
Would you be in favor of social services removing that baby from the parents?
if you can't respect your kids, you shouldn't have any
Are you in favor of more or less government? Just curious.
If a law protects citizens, it's right
So, you have said that "if you can't respect kids, you shouldn't have any" and you are against circumcision.
But according to Judaism, Jews *must* circumcise their boys.
So, would you therefore be in favor of a law that prohibits Jews from having boys? After all, they are going to circumcize them.
Some jews, hopefully, can respect that fact
Your religion isn't above the law, ethic, and rights
Jews follow God's law, which is a Higher Authority.
No one is forcing any other parent to do anything. If a gentile parent does not want to circumcise his kid, fine. But if an Orthodox Jewish couple circumcises their kid, then that's what's going to be.
If the law says you can't circumcize, and that's how it should be, you will follow the law and not transgress your kids rights. or you'll face the consequences. You're not higher than law
And circumcision is not illegal, so the conversation is a bit moot.
When you have a partner that has not been circumcised and you wind up with an infection like my sister did with her ex-husband, say hello to the doctor for me while you are writhing in pain and scratching your crotch off.
You are making false conclusions
An operation to get foreskin back from someone else ?
Not the same !
if they were on their way to church.
So, you're opinion doesn't really matter . . . you have a religious bias.
A righteous prayer would be to ask for God's will in your life, the courage to face the tribulations of that, the faith to maintain the trust in his will during that, and to become a more loving person in thought and in action.
Prayers are changing me.
And the prayers aren't just before I go to bed. Prayers are constantly being said throughout the day. It's course adjustments constantly being made as I steer . . . and ask Him to steer me in the right direction.
I could never go back to not having that relationship and falling back into a Godless world void of the love he shows me daily.
