Most of them have the brains of garden snails and the political wisdom of 8-year-olds. Any one who listens to celebrities about politics is too stupid to vote.

I could care less about which celebrity endorses who. What matters to me is the records of each candidate.
    Of Obama:
    1. Am I and those I know better off now than we were 4 years ago?
    2. Has he kept All, Most, Some or None of the promises he made in 2008?
    3. Has he proven himself to be not only a competent leader but also a competent commander-in-chief?
    4. While campaigning, has he flip-flopped on any issues?

    Of Romney:
    1. How did Mass fare under his term as governor?
    2. Has he kept All, Most, Some or None of the promises he has made?
    3. While campaigning, has he flip-flopped on any issues?
    4. What is his stance on national and foreign matters?

After I weighed these options, Obama lost out to Romney in my mind. These past four years have proven his undoing due to his policies, failure to keep promises, poor foreign relations skills, violations of US Constitutional law (for example, taking a foreign office in the UN while being president of the US), abysmal rate of recovery in comparison to past presidents who had similar economic situations, and how he has flip-flopped on issues, doing now what he said he wouldn't do back in 2008.

In the case of Romney: As governor, Romney presided over a series of spending cuts and increases in fees that eliminated an up to $1.5 billion deficit. He signed into law the Massachusetts health care reform legislation, which provided near-universal health insurance access via subsidies and state-level mandates and was the first of its kind in the nation. Job growth in Massachusetts rose , the annual rate of job growth was improving by his last year in office, moving Massachusetts up from last place nationally to 28th, as opposed to being 47th when he first took office in Mass. While I do not agree with Romney on issues like Gay Rights, what we need right now is economic stimulation and growth.

You have those statistics reversed. Massachusetts was 47th when Romney left office and he had a 28% approval rating and couldn't run for re-election. Now he's running 20 points behind in Mass. If he was so great, why didn't they want to elect him and why are they NOT voting for him for President?

No, I have those statistics correct. FactCheck.org., Politifact.com (Tampa Bay Times)

Quote:"The annual rate of job growth was improving by his last year in office, moving Massachusetts up from last place nationally to 28th".

And MA is a very liberal state, and you will always have the sheep following their messiah Obama. However, since you don't live in MA and I spend quite a lot of time there, I know that the vast majority of the people I talk to there at the college are upset with Obama and will be voting for Romney And that is 2/3 of the students and faculty. So I think I'll side with real life rather than liberal biased media.

Becker College, where nurses, veterinary technicians, game designers and business curriculums are taught among other things. And obviously I'm dealing with an ignorant liberal who is too drunk in the political Kool-Aid to even do any research and simply wants Obama to win because he's a Democrat rather than focusing on the issues at hand. And like all blind liberals, you fail to back up anything with facts and you start flinging mud when your ideals are challenged BY facts. But ignorance is bliss for some I suppose, so enjoy your blissful ignorant state during this period where the rest of America is suffering.

    Good day.

Not everyone that gives you advise is being hateful. Don't be so defensive.

You have a fox on your profile, foxes carry rabies that kills people. Many people have a car on their profile. Cars kill more people every year. If you look at the picture full size you can see that it is a political statement. Empty cartridge and slide locked back equals an empty gun. The gun is in a skeletal hand equals dead person. That captions reads "now you can have it...". This states that I will not willing give up the right to keep and bear arms. There are many crazy people that hurt others for no reason other than for their own sick pleasure. Yes, I own a gun, several actually. I do carry one of them pretty much everywhere I can legally do so. Does this make me some wacko looking to gun down a dozen people? I pray that I will never be in a situation that requires me to use it. If I do find myself in that position I hope that I or someone like me does have one.

Luke 22:36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
37 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.
38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.
Jesus tells his disciples that his death is near and they need to prepare for the coming journeys, including being prepared to defend themselves.

That is for each of us to decide. I didn't say Jesus had a sword. Jesus came here to die for our sins and that he did. These verses are from the book of Luke shortly before he was to be crucified. Jesus told his disciples to buy a sword and when they said here are two, he replied "It is enough". Two swords would not be one for everyone, so I take that to mean not all of them needed to have a sword. You are well within your right to not have a gun, but I am within my right to have one. I will defend myself and my rights.

Indeed, his is a great gun speech. I often hear people say that God helps those who help themselves. This I can paraphrase; God protects those who are willing to protect themselves.
Gun is a tool and if properly used will help to save lives by stopping someone who would take them.
