Should California school ban poster offending Christians by falsely portraying Jesus as a Mohammed clone calling for death of all infidels, when in fact Jesus commanded his followers to love others, not kill them?

To me that is defamation of the character of Jesus, portraying him falsely as Mohammed. And false defamation is not protected under the 1st Amendment.

This DID fit in with the assignment. It is a recruting poster for the crusades.

I miss the days when no one outside of the school involved would have known about this!!

A recruiting poster for the crusades??? Even a modern-day crusade against Islam wouldn't slur Jesus like that.

That was what the assignment was. To make a recruiting poster for the crusades. While he got the wording backwards it did fit in with the assignment. That was pretty much what was said in the day-Go to foreign lands and defend Christianity and Christian relics. This kid got it backwards, but he tried. It was a play on the old
