You could see why President Obama wants to have a Slurpee with John Boehner. The ice drink is so delicious.
OK. Maybe you can't see it. But in a light moment at a White House briefing, a reporter asked the president if he planned to bring Boehner, the next Speaker of the House, over for a Slurpee. A play on an earlier dig by the president of Republicans.
Listen to the video to hear what Obama said.
More importantly, we assume, is what the president and Boehner as well as other leaders will be talking about. Democrats just got their heads handed to them in this week's elections. So now the parties have to work out their differences. We would rather have a beer summit, but if Slurpees will make everyone happy and committed, should we complain?

this election was an absolute rejection of Barry's ideas and policies. the electorate doesnt wanna halfway do things that kill the economy and jobs, they want... wait for it..
the opposite.
this was the biggest idealogical power shift in 70 years. that doesn't signal "work together," it signals "please stop these mf'ers from destroying my country."
Obama will continue his self destruction, taking the democratic party with him, I think Tuesday was part one of that agenda, part two is 24 months away. In 2012 22 of the 33 senators are democrats. Question is will they, dem senators, go down with him, or reject him and perhaps save thier jobs.
We will see, they are aware of where the house went by blindly backing him.
keys, and threw him in the ditch. Now, as his enemies, we can throw the slurpees in his face. Oh, dont forget the media. They were locked in the trunk.
There still remain the bulk of the entrenched marxists in government and they need removal in two years, along with your leader. Then the long march back through the institutions. University leadership, teachers unions, union thuggery in general, defunding of the class structures such as minority groups, ( gays, women, blacks and hispanics,) a rejection and removal of the 'progressive' ideology that has nearly destroyed us.
