Should all six officers involved in Kelly Thomas beating death be charged?

The Orange County DA announced on September 21st after more than 2 months following the police beating death of Kelly Thomas, a homeless man diagnosed with schizophrenia that charges were filed against two Fullerton Police Officers involved in the death of Kelly Thomas. However, according to eyewitness reports and officers reports there were a total of 6 police officers at the time of his beating.

Now obviously not all 6 officers should be charged with homocide as was Manuel Ramos given he was the one that put the latex gloves on and then made the verbal threat "Now see my fists........they are getting ready to "F" you up? Other officers punched, kicked, tasered and restrained him even after there was no longer a response from Kelly Thomas and a huge pool of blood had formed around his head. At no time during this altercation which lasted a total of 30 minutes from when he was first approached by Officers Ramos and Wolfe until the paramedics removed his lifeless body from the pavement did any of the other officers involved do anything to stop this tragedy. It is beyond comprehension to imagine police officers sworn to uphold the law - break it and nearly get away with it. If Kelly's father Ron Thomas had not had the good sense to take a picture of his son in the hospital the day following the brutal beating and release it to the media more than likely these officers would have gotten away with murder.

So far the DA has made the right call in charging Ramos and Cicinelli, but the other officers should be made to answer as well in order for justice to be fairly served.
