Let me guess once again school administrators with poop for brains think the hair is somehow outlandish? It is none of their damn business they are paid to educate, other than that just mind your own business it is the parents decision how they fix their childs hair..

Her hair is cute,It's not braid. Me thinks Holy trinity might just be inadvertanly cultivating a future hell raiser.

The little girl looks so cute with her hair in a bow. That is just so incredibly unique. Shame on that nasty, hateful school.
    That makes me sad.

I am kinda iffy on this. I'm all for it, it's cute. But, on the other hand, were there rules before hand? If so, then they should follow them, no matter how stupid they are.

Thats not cool. Come on and they let girl wear bows of hair that they buy at stores. Seriously she looks cute but banning her is extreme. Poor girl, scarred for life.
I have to ask her how she got her hair like that. Cute!
    F*ck it stupid school district.

No that hairstyle is really cute.I wish i could do my hair like that. Also she looks really pretty with that tux and the strip shirt under it.Makes her look like a little grown lady.In a good way. This is so creative the way her father dress her up.

Does this have a meaning that I am unaware of? If it's just a hair style, what's the problem?

Okay, what? It says that the school forbids BRAIDED HAIR. What?

seeing the lib couldn't tell us why the photo was banned i will take it that the school policy banned it.

And why would you think they should ban it. It's not dyed, spiked, or anything too outragous. What about corn rows would they ban that too?
  • GLaDOS gocar 2012/05/24 10:43:02

Cornrows would be banned, because they don't allow hair to be braided, specifically.

My issue with the picture is the fact that, well, the bloody bow is not a braid.

They made a little girl cry over her hair?! How is that bow harming anyone and/or inappropriate for a school photo?
  • Valerie© 2012/05/24 00:12:23

I have absolutely no problem with the bow, but if you read the article on YahooNews, they state the very strict dress code: including no ribbons or bows "made of dark colors, maroon/navy blue/black" and that "no hair braids/beads may be warn". Given that, I can see how the bow of hair was deemed inappopriate. Now to me these rules are ridiculous, but the father agreed to send his daughter to *that school, therefore abiding by *those roles. They didn't completely ban the daughter from the photo, just asked her to wear her hair in a way that agreed with the rules.
