There is no way that matty can do that. By his own admission here on SH his now 18 yr old son, who at 17 had been out of his life for 15 yrs, got caught being naughty and smoking pot-so his mother shipped him off to live with matty-well that didn't last even a year and he had to ship him back-so ask matty what a wonderful father he is???

Yes. It isn't that she is doing this that's the problem. It's the condemnation of her right wing rhetoric for this kind of behavior. The family values nut jobs on the right like to preach about the evils of celebrities and condemn Jamie Lynn Spears and her mother, but when it comes to a display of hypocrisy from a politician who preaches about other's shortcomings, we aren't supposed to point out her shortcomings.

She's been running her political career and not taking care of her kids. And if she was a man preaching the same hypocrisy, I would say the same thing.

Mccain is sunk. Like a letter to the BBC I just read from a California voter, "Is it better that she wasn't properly vetted, or that she was properly vetted and this is the best they could offer us."

I dont think they will sink him exactly but its not good. If the vp's daughter can sneak this stuff past her mother then what can our enemies or bad goverment get by her I wonder. The problem should not be children but the candidates themselves. McCain is too old and his running mate has great chance of becoming the president by default. Palin is clearly not fit for the presidency nor does she have the experience. Let's get real folks! Focus on the candidates and not their erratic offsprings! I definitely didn't want my son doing some of things I did when I was young. He did some of them and more. No matter what one's political beliefs are and how hard we try, kids will involve themselves in situations we disapprove of. The only way to avoid it 100% is too chain them in the house. Who wants to advocate that lol
