An Arizona man who on Wednesday reportedly killed four people, including a 47-year-old grandmother and a 15-month-old infant, and then took his own life was also a former Republican Party official, a former white supremacist neo-Nazi and the founder of a border patrol vigilante group that advocated using violence on immigrants. He had also been a strong supporter of Sheriff Joe Arpaio, participating in several of his events.
Ready shared the stage with state Senator Russell Pearce at an anti-immigration rally in June 2007. In an interview with Fox 10, Ready called Pearce, who sponsored Arizona’s anti-immigration SB1070 law, a “surrogate father” who “enlightened him.”

    Sad, but not surprising.
    A Founding Father
Those who have read my comments here on SH know that while I advocate sound minds and characters having a right to own weapons, I know that far too many lunatics also have the same "rights" to possess and use weapons. Being unstable and often paranoids, it is inexcusable that persons who demonstrate mental unsoundness should be allowed to own or possess guns, or, perhaps, sharp sticks. This is an example of one who openly showed
signs of mental illness but there is nothing in the "system" to catch these loonies before they do what is too often inevitable. To gun manufacturers and retail shops, such events are just good advertisement for selling more of them to those who now have additional reason to fear their neighbors or even the husband.

90% of your poll is irrelevant to the actual topic. SHOCKING! Well not really. It's a typical liberal thing. It's a sad day for Arizona.

Considering the right wing's emphasis on guns and suggestions of "Second Amendment" solutions, this isn't surprising. It's terribly sad.

Any minute now, the Far Rightys will be here insisting that somehow, someway, Obama was behind this, too. Oh wait... I see Holder, Jackson, and Sharpton have already arrived down below. Figures.

The man was a a former white supremacist neo-Nazi and the founder of a border patrol vigilante group. He lived in a very small world of ongoing negativity , hate, and fearmongering. Surprised he didn't snap before.

It's really sad that he couldn't handle his problems. He should have only taken himself out and done the world a favor.

Yes, shocking that this makes the news when incidents like the 100 person black mob who attacked and beat a couple of white journalists went ignored by the press for 2 weeks.

Where was Sharpton, Jackson & Holder?

Speaking of Holder..... he has been officially advised with a draft of charges to be held in contempt of Congress for his refusal to answer questions and stonewalling with lies about Fast & Furious.

As sad as this news is for the Grandmother and infant in this Arizona story, it's a far cry from the ongoing daily murders taking place with the assault weapons Holder & 0bozo were handing over to Mexican drug cartels, later planning to blame it on AZ. and politicize it as lax gun laws.

Holder and 0bozo have yet to issue an apology (verbal or written) to slain BP Agents, Brain Terry's family but find no problem coddling terrorists.

I couldn't care less about the levels or atta-boys on this site. Rather lame if I say so myself.
I just happen to have a lot of time on my hands over here and have to stay on a basic USA timezone frame.
A friend turned me onto this site as a place to kill some time and debunk a lot of misinformation.
    She was correct.

This is the third time I have seen the same pap from the same political ideology that has nothing to run on. How Funny! Not shocking at all, fear mongering and pap is all the left has ever had, to persuade the dullards to vote for them.

President Obama has an outstanding record on which to run. Our economy is improving and thousands of jobs have been added. Meanwhile, Romney caves to radical right hatemongers like Bryan Fischer.
