    IT IS THE SOLDIER
It is the Soldier, not the minister
Who has given us freedom of religion.

It is the Soldier, not the reporter
Who has given us freedom of the press.

It is the Soldier, not the poet
Who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the Soldier, not the campus organizer
Who has given us freedom to protest.

It is the Soldier, not the lawyer
Who has given us the right to a fair trial.

It is the Soldier, not the politician
Who has given us the right to vote.

It is the Soldier who salutes the flag,
    Who serves beneath the flag,
And whose coffin is draped by the flag,
Who allows the protester to burn the flag.

    It's called the Fair Tax.

you still need a Fair Tax Agency to see whery is the money is going. I wish their was a fair tax it would be so much easy and less governmental involvement but still you paying for it.

Which would be minuscule compared to the IRS. Your taxes are collected when you buy anything new. There is no enforcement because nobody owes anything at the end of the year. Twelve guys with a laptop could probably do it.

i have doubt about this being minuscule because human being are prone to corruption but I will love to give a try.

How about making departments better instead of (all-or-nothing cognitive distortion; false dichotomy) "throwing the baby out with the bath water"?

I wish you'd had more choices. We shouldn't eliminate either or those. We need however to balance their budgets. We do not need more weapons systems. However we should raise the salaries and benefits of military people.

Sure. We can take all these worthless teachers that don't teach and send them to Iraq and afghanistan.

No sir, but it is the soldier that provides all of us with the environment that allows the citizenry of this nation to pursue there destiny and exercise there own free will.

It is impossible to let the guns and missiles out of a nation that creates an environment of constants fear and outspend trillions in waste full spending therefore we are not exercising free will but the will of fear.

Defense is called out in the Constitution. Education, energy, commerce, agriculture and the EPA are not. Get rid of them.

We can tell by the choices you give that you are an idiot. The Department of Education was started back in the 70s and ever since the nations test scores have steadily declined. We are the strongest armed forces on the face of the planet. Now tell me, which one sounds like it is actually succeeding in it's purpose?

costa rica doesn't have an army, yet they invest in education.
You valure more spending on weapon that cost us billions that we only to attack other nation, instead of becoming a nation that can compete in business. Right now we hiring people from around the globe just to keep our nation safe.

Costa Rica is a central American country. It's need for an army is not as necessary as a country many times it's size. We have poured literally billions of dollars into our education system and still our test scores continue to fall. Throwing more money at it isn't going to solve the problem. Our Constitution mandates we fund a military, it doesn't with education. It's time for the Federal Government to get out of education and return it to the state and local level where it used to be.
