    that second ad is so stupid. everyone knows that women are the better car drivers. (it costs less to insure a female driver than it does a male.) Sadly though I work with a few men who think that just because I'm a woman, that I can't lift the fifty plus bags of popcorn seed. HAH!!! Boy did I show THEM! Those "big strong" men had to "take a breather" while I continued to move, lift, and empty 20+ fifty pound bags ON MY OWN!!! I KICK MALE BUTT!!!! EAT THAT SEXIST PIGS!!!! MWAHAHAHAAAAA!!!!!

    The sexism I tend to find most objectionable these days is that preached by fundamentalist Christians. True, it is embedded in the bible, but we've gone beyond slavery which was biblically sanctioned, and going to hell for drinking milk with your meat or eating lobster and clams and wearing different sorts of cloth. These religious mini-dictators could certainly move beyond sexism also. Unless they truly embrace the Taliban religious mentality.

    I don't believe it is all that bad today because the ACLU would be after the men.
    We don't have it half as bad as some of the third world countries. At least, not many are getting beheaded here, unless their husband is a radical Muslim. I state this as fact as to the Muslim husband who beheaded his wife in New York.

    sexism will never completely disappear. I don't think so at least, no matter what, stereotypes will still be abundant, just not as obvious.

    It works in reverse now. Neither stereotype is good. Men are not big enough, men can't get it up anymore according to tv ads. I like the stronger men of the past. Women's lib did not do all women a favor. It is good though that men help their wives more today. I'll take the Clark Cable type, not Richard Simmons.

    They are all are pathetic ! On the other hand, the media now pushes the perfect body, perfect face, perfect clothes. But, off the subject, men and women help me: I wish they had spell-check on Sodahead. sometimes the comments are hard to read. No offence, I'm just as guilty as anyone else....I just got lucky.
