I think this posting is incorrect. The latest news on this controversy which I was able to google is that the girl scouts organization insisted on admitting the transgender girl, and that the disgruntled adult leaders of the troops involved disbanded the girl scout troops rather than follow the directive of the girl scouts organization to admit the transgender girl.
Obviously, the transgender girl should have been allowed to participate in girl scouts. This is just another example of conservative right wing religionists making life unpleasant for others because they are different.

Last fall Felisha Archuleta’s child, seven-year-old transgender son
Bobby, was rejected from the Colorado Girl Scouts because of his “boy
parts.”
"He dresses like a girl, and you can't tell he is a girl?" Archuleta said in an interview with
"But the Girl Scout leader told us he can't join because he has 'boy

There ARE religious people who don't agree with the lifestyle but know it isn't their business what the hell goes on in our lives. Maybe you should follow suit.

Ignoring the religious aspect(i am not religious), i don't need religion to tell me transgenders are delusional..you are what you are born and no amount of surgery,acting or wishful thinking changes that biological fact..having said that what right do YOU have to tell a PRIVATE organization who it should accept? The Girl Scouts do accept transgender scouts. As I noted, in this case, disgruntled adult leaders disbanded the girl scout troop rather than following the official policy of the Girl Scouts.

both use excuse saying it protects their gay customers..yet if a straight establishment uses the same excuse it's "bigoted and hate"
for the record i am not for banning LGBT from business(though i don't think government should have laws..a business that discriminates is bound to fail or not do as well as it could).i don't support the LGBT but i will take anyone's money..i think business that do discriminate are only hurting themselves financially .
I expect the Girl Scouts to get bullied and cave in,
per usual fashion.
