Help Get the 'Rogue' EPA Back Under Control
More than 6,000 people have signed a petition
crafted by The Heartland Institute demanding that Congress “rein in the
Environmental Protection Agency” through deep cuts in the size, power,
and cost of the agency. Join the fight to rein in this economy- and
freedom-crushing agency by adding your name to the petition.
According to the Citizen’s Petition to Rein in the Environmental Protection Agency,
EPA has “lost its war to scare America into giving [it] legislation
that would allow [it] to seize control of virtually all energy
production and use, [and is] perverting the Clean Air law to give
[itself] unprecedented powers to regulate American society.”
Let your voice be heard! Heartland will publicly present the petitions to Congress once the drive hits 10,000 signatures.
Joseph Bast, president of The Heartland
Institute, says that in the name of fighting global warming, EPA has
become a “rogue agency,” spending $9 billion in 2012 alone to shackle
individuals and businesses with expensive and wasteful compliance orders
and mandates without the consent of Congress. According to Bast:
"The toll EPA is now taking on our
country is staggering, putting hundreds of thousands of Americans out of
work at a time when millions of people are unemployed and our reliance
on foreign sources of energy threatens to compromise the nation’s
security. The solution is to rein in EPA through deep cuts in the size,
power, and cost of the agency. This can be done by Congress, through its
control over the government’s purse, or by a president willing to put
sound science and a strong economy ahead of the demands of environmental
extremists."

and share it with your friends and family. We can restore sound science
to the EPA if fellow members of the Common Sense Coalition bands
together and speaks with one loud voice!

I you hate clean air and love dying of mercury poisoning, asthma or cancer, you should support them. Seriously, how can one claim second hand smoking is harmless? To promote that is to kill people. Is that what conservatism is? I know and hope it is not. Do not fall for their well funded marketing.

And I think you could use all the advice you can get.
And really, if you don't want to hear something you don't like to hear, I suggest you talk to your cat. In the meantime, I will feel free to answer anything I feel like.
Funny how the freedom obsessed right wing extremists are the first to want to try to shut you down. Jere, you could be a nice guy in real life, but as soon as you have decided to become a tool for the Heritage Foundation, you have become an extremist. I hope you realize that.
