Well here's a way of getting Romney to release his tax records: accuse him of not paying taxes for 10 years. The heat is getting turned up on Mitt Romney to release his tax records. The claim seems to be outrageous and inflammatory, but may in fact be true. We won't know the real truth unless Romney releases historical tax records. Is Senator Reid right -- or is this all just a political stunt?

FOXNEWS.COM reports:
Mitt Romney called on Harry Reid Tuesday to reveal the source for his claim that the Republican presidential candidate has not paid taxes for 10 years, stepping up pressure as two major fact-check sites ruled Reid had no basis for the incendiary allegation.

the best answer to this question is do you honestly think that if Romney had NOT paid his taxes that the IRS which currently answers to Barack Obama would not be all over him?

Yes the IRS doesn't need to ask him for his Tax records because they already have them.

Not only is it a stunt but worse is people are stupid enough to fall for it.

The IRS can't find their ass with a flashlight. People like Romney have a roomful of accountants specializing in hiding money, some of which are retired or ex IRS agents. One example, Romney invests in a foreign company using a foreign shell company or holding company. The profits flow into a Swiss bank account. The IRS never sees the money, which is in Euros, francs, marks, Krugerrands or whatever. The world is his playground.

Ummm, the previous prez put a poison pill into the economy in the form of a tax cut that was not paid for, and added trillions to the deficit. The repugs and teabugers are blaming the current prez for the poison pill. Who are the hypocrites?

BTW, Paul Ryan believes in Sharia law. How do I know? He says he is against it. While Ryan was squalling about deficit spending, he voted for 5 TRILLION in deficit spending. When Paul Ryan was squalling about the evils of the stimulus plan. AT THE SAME TIME he was begging the Obama administration for over 20 BILLION in stimulus money. So when Ryan says he is against Sharia law, he must be for it.

a lot of people do not pay taxes. That does not make them criminals. As you stated, there are loop holes. while you may not like them, they are legal until congress closes them.....It is criminal to take bribes and pay offs which is what Reid's tax records may show.

But they also allow some people to not pay taxes. Romney has just admitted he paid no less than 13% on his taxes. That would be reported income. How much income did he not report that is hidden in Swiss bank accounts. We all know $6000 is the most anyone can put in an IRA, How is it that his IRA has 100 million in it? Unless Romney can prove he is not a tax cheat, he will be considered a tax cheat. People like him are part of the problem.

You obviously do not know anything about the Fair Tax. Please read up on it. In the US, people are innocent unless proven guilty. You are saying he is guilty unless he can prove that he is innocent. What if i called you a child molester and rapist and said that you had to prove that you were not one otherwise you were one....People like you are part of the problem...Again, if you don't like the tax loopholes, vote the change the tax law. that is the problem...
