They have nothing to gain by exposing Obama's lies. THEY HAVE PUT THEIR LIVES ON THE LINE FOR THIS COUNTRY!

    Duh!
What motive do the SEALs have in discrediting their Commander and Chief? They don't run for political office or re-election.

They care about the truth more than power.

This guy is a moron. He states "Even though bin Laden was killed without resisting, the SEAL were instructed beforehand that it was not an assassination mission and that bin Laden should have been brought back alive, if possible."

According to his story he and the team disobeyed orders and turned this into an assassination mission. According to his account they shot a unarmed person several times killing him, even going as far as to tag a few rounds in the mans chest when he was incapacitated. By his own account he discredits team6 and admits to committing crimes that could land him in jail.

    What is all about though?

"Bissonnette is also critical of President Obama in his story, saying that no one on the team was a fan of the president and that they believed he and other leaders would inflate their own roles in the story. Even before the raid began, the SEALs joked about how they would help Obama get re-elected and also speculated about who would play them in the Hollywood movie."

This man is a glory hound and wants to be in the spotlight. This is not normal behavior for special ops. they know they have a thankless job and normally avoid the spotlight when possible.

No, I think he is not a credible witness. He was probably waiting in the bird during the operation, if he was there at all.

Turns out he was right about Obama hogging the glory...and the Hollywood movie.

    http://ramparts360.com/2012/0...

And based on the WH leaks, this president obviously doesn't care all that much about national security as compared to anything that might help him get re-elected. You can have him.

I raved you only because this jackhole did give out details of a secret mission, and does admit killing an unarmed man and disobeying orders. The sad part is, they should have captured him, brought him back, put a bag over his head, then opened a feed to the Taliban, unbag his head, then shoot him. Very qui kly explain that their illusion of being a real threat is highly exaggerated, then go play golf. Still, Obama loves to take credit for everything that happens under his leadership. Didn't you know? My stomach, beans, and bacteria don't make my farts, someone else did. This guys is just ridiculous and I hope you realize support of him is exactly how to further dig our hole as a nation.

"Still, Obama loves to take credit for everything that happens under his leadership."

I do see your point but I would also like to point out that if things had gone terribly wrong and Team 6 would have been butchered along with a dozen civilians, people would have made Obama take credit for that.

We have all worked for a boss and went through this same thing on a personal level. The manager or team leader gets the credit because they are in charge.

"I hope you realize support of him is exactly how to further dig our hole as a nation."

I am not an Obama fan and I am an Independent voter, so I have looked at both candidates thoroughly. Between Obama and Romney, Obama is the lesser of the two evils. I wish we had a third choice.

You did an excellent job of avoiding lamentation into why he is the better choice. Romney knows money, the economy, or money, is our issue. Obama hasn't a clues what to do. Now, again, how is he better than Romney. Exactly how?

I just wish that someone still had the balls to report the real news. That would be a viable business, the only outlet to outwardly bust the balls of those palmgreasers and turn down the bastardizing of pure journalism. I imagine that news station would be most popular, as it wouldn't take much to discern the truth from that without merit.

"I imagine that news station would be most popular,"

LOL, it would be popular alright. People would trying to take them to court so much that they would not have to advertise for publicity.

In my experience, most people do not want the truth and reject it when confronted with it.

You mean the slander charges those fools who wish to cover their steps would try to slap on them? I propose a news station off shore, that only reports American news. The slogan could be "Reporting your news, because your country won't!" What do you think?

He has left the planet. He is no longer a direct threat. The details of his demise are not of interest to me. By the time the republicans are finished with their campaign- they'll claim Romney was instrumental in bringing Bin Laden down....Truth is a rare commodity in this day and age.

The SEAL. Im pretty sure everyone already knew who deserved the credit for the kill shot and it wasnt Obama, Im also pretty sure people realized we were not being told the whole story. Unlike some people though, I dont agree with this ex-SEAL writing this book at least not at this time, not because I want Obama protected but because I worry about the backlash from the anti-military crowd who seem to have such a strong pull on so many of our politicians.

    How about neither?
Neither the Navy SEALs or President Obama can speak the full truth on the matter.

Second I highly doubt the motivation behind that book was to get the truth out. There are many ways that could have been done that would have been easier and faster than a book. That book was written for the money and the truth doesn't sell copies.. Lies, exageration, and fantasy do.

I think the Seals are telling the truth...and not for the money. They understand the disdain Obama holds for them and feel insulted and disappointed at the lack of any value or appreciation Obama feels for them,-and they want the world to know, too.
