Thanks, corrected Murdoch's name. The point of my post was that there are some things in politics that are unambiguous defeats for one party. Today is one of those times. I found it disingenuous when Democrats tried to claim partial victory in Wisconsin and I find it just as disingenuous now Republicans are trying to claim victory in fact of the Supreme Court decisions this week.

I"m a Moderate, and believe the 780 billion dollar deficient between receipts and money being paid out on Social Security/Medicare/Medicaid needs to be fixed. That deficient is larger than our Military budget, and I'm beyond sick of seeing FREELOADERS killing our hospitals budget in my state. Something had to get done, and I haven't seen anything from the Republican Party for years in trying to fix this massive problem. By the way, what is Romney's personal responsibility answer for fixing the health system? it's Obamacare....not much difference at all.

Justice Roberts just did the Republicans a huge favor. He insured a win in November. Now we will have the POTUS, House and Senate.

You see, the TAX mandate is not collectable or enforceable and the single biggest, least wanted tax to ever be created. 70% of Americans DON'T want the mandate and as a tax they will HATE IT.

The States don't have to comply with expansion. SO they will get their funding even when they refuse to expand medicare and medicade. There goes the ability to make States comply and kills the funding issue.

If the middle and upper class weren't paying enough already in taxes which the rest of the 47% don't pay a dime, obama at the very least with the mandate in place just destroyed what is left of the middle class.

Thats not how it works. You have to have insurance now. If you do not fall within the guidelines for government to help you with your medicals, then you will have get yurself insurance and if you don't, you will be fined. If you do fall within the guidelines for government to pay for it, then you are allowed what THEY SAY YOU ARE ALLOWED. They may decide you don't need a certain blood test or you can do without that tooth, or you can choose from these 2 glasses frames, etc. That's what they do now and it will get worse....just watch.

If you have insurance, your employer prevides it, it doesn't affect you. If you aren't working, or can't afford insurance, the gov. will help. If you can afford insurance and chose to not buy any, you pay a tax, your choice. The government isn't going to tell yopur doctor what kind of treatment you can have, just like there are no "Death Panels".

And by the way, I thought Conservatives loved and lived by the constitution. Well A conservative Supreme Court says this law is constitutional.

This was not decided by the constitution. Roberts decided it was a TAX and the government has a right to tax. Kagan should have recused herself because she had a hand in writing the law itself..unconstitutional much?..THAT is a fair Justice? NOT!

Obamacare is full of taxes not just the mandate tax. Our POTUS flat out lied to all Americans when he said the mandate was not a tax. Those who can't afford insurance are going to be taxed and those who choose not to purchase insurance will be taxed along with all the rest of us who are already paying for the health care of the uninsured. This will be the ruin of health care in America and the middle and lower classes.

Obama said it applied to commerce, ROBERTS said commerce didn't apply, but is was legal as a tax, congress can tax you. Justice Roberts saved Obama! You lied!

Yep, Roberts saved the individual mandate that I am pulling the cart for....I am sure you are sitting in it. Meanwhile, my husband is fighting cancer and this bill taxes my medical coverage so our premiums and out of pocket go up again. You just don't get it.
