First of all, the hardest-right conservatives (fascists, really) don't need any help looking nutty - they do just dandy achieving that appearance all on their own. Many examples can be found on this very site, and you don't even have to look very hard at all.
Second, was this guy complaining when we invaded Iraq to take out the leader of a country that never made a move on America? No? Then he's a hypocrite, as is anyone who agrees with this particular complaint.
I really want to understand conservatives , I really do, but here's the thing: how can they not be happy about this? If they're truly Americans first, and not more concerned with "being conservative", they'd be celebrating this American victory, and would be showing a little respect for their President. What kind of selfish people really have nothing more in their hearts than hatred (or sour grapes), who will take something we should all be rallying around as Americans ("We got the main bad guy!"), and turn it into more ways to slander and impugn their President .

Presidents are always keeping an eye on polls and there is nothing anyone can do to stop it, but that doesn't mean that they don't want what is best for the USA. Obama wants just that. The best thing for the USA and the safety of the USA and it's citizens is his main concern. He would not have run for presidency or even become a politician if he didn't want that.
Presidents, Prime Ministers, any ruling government will borrow 'trillions' of dollars and have done so for centuries. It is not his fault for the economy being in the state it is nor is it his fault that he needs to borrow money to fixed said economy. Besides, if he did 'borrow trillions of dollars', the USA would most likely become bankrupt. Obama is not trying to ruin your children and grandchildren's future, he is trying to save it.
Finally, all ruling governments have less than savoury acts that must be done if the safety of many is to be confirmed. Nothing will ever stop that. It is better for that government to be open with what they are doing and retain the voter's trust, rather than sneak around in the shadows and lose the voter's trust. I commend Obama for being honest with the American people.

Unrelated note: I find the majority of leftists mean, vindictive, spiteful, resentful, and will use any cheap tactic, lies or immoral act to win, to gain power, to crush people. I would rather not make a statement like that, being there are some among the crowd that honestly do care and are good people, but the answers to this poll and examples throughout history (now distorted) are some proof of how far some are willing to go and the terrible things that are said and done to win.

Napolitano sees deviousness in everything Obama does, but he forgets how the Bush administration ramped up the terrorist-threat color chart whenever an election approached. We no longer live with constant manufactured fear as we did then.
