Say It Ain't So, Joe! Arizona Tea Party Groups Cancel Birther Bash After It Fails To Sell Tickets!

Birthers in Arizona will have to find another place to congregate later this month, after Tea Party organizers announced late last week that they were canceling an upcoming event due to a lack of ticket sales.

The event was set to be headlined by Maricopa County Sheriff Joe
Arpaio and another member of his "Cold Case Posse," both of whom have
been outspoken proponents of conspiracy theories about President Barack Obama's birth certificate being a forgery. 78-year-old singer Pat Boone, who was taped last year
speaking out about Obama's alleged Kenyan birthplace, was also set to
make an appearance. Rounding out the bill was Terrence Lakin, a former
Army doctor who was dismissed from the service and sentenced to six months in a military prison after refusing to deploy to Afghanistan over his birther beliefs.

Organizers admitted that the confab had "been cancelled due to inadequate ticket sales."

Pat Boone is a birther? He and Clint Eastwood would make an interesting comedy team

Yep, they're both old angry white guys who have their own reality. Like most of the GOP base!

I'm slightly surprised. Crazy people seem to be everywhere.

    Maybe they didn't advertise enough...

I'm surprised too, especially in AZ, the birther capitol of the U.S. Since this was being organized by the Tea Party, they obviously didn't get enough of a response from among their own members to hold this. I think even the crazies are tired of all the bloviating from the birther investigators like Joe A. who keep claiming the BC is a fake but can never come up with any proof. I think they've finally realized that they're being played.

It's about time people wised up and discarded the birther madness.

Ever notice that the hat that KKKers wear is the most properly symbolic part of their full regalia, indicating as it does the level of mentality and intellect that one needs to hold such beliefs in this day and age?

Obviously AZ birthers don't think so. They think Joe Arpaio has been shining them on. Gee, ya think? lol

If, as everyone but you has suspected, their jobs were to make themselves look like complete idiots, then yes, their jobs are indeed done. Kudos to them for going out in a blaze of stupidity.
