A Satanist couple in the Denver-area are claiming to be the victims of a hate
crime after a sign reading "VOTE SATAN" was removed from their front porch.
Satan's endorsement was hung next to the American flag.

Luigi and Angie Bellaviste, members of the Church of Satan, decorate their property with black items, skulls and the number 666.

The couple believes that the person who cut down their sign should be charged with a hate crime.

I didn't realize that Satanism was a religion, per se. Isn't it the opposite. Was Satan actually running for an office? (tongue in cheek answer)

Doesn't make sense....if they're Satanists, they should be INTO hate....they should be into crime and persecution for that matter. So someone did something evil and they're OFFENDED?

I'd say vandalism. If a pride flag is torn down it isn't a hate crime, so this shouldn't be.

Seriously,who doesn't feel persecuted these days? It's all the newest rage now,be a whiny little cry baby and the winner is the one who can whine the loudest and longest.If you do things to deliberately provoke people,then what do you expect? That kind of thing is usually meant to provoke,and nothing more.
