Well if you walk softly and talk softly you better have a big stick or the wild beasts will not fear you and get you!

She's referring to President Theodore Roosevelt's policy "walk softly, but carry a big stick". Meaning. Don't start trouble. But if someone attacks you, smash them down definitively.

Maybe she was told bedtime stories as a little girl about Teddy Roosevelt, but as usual she got it mixed up.

He already has one; Joe Biden has seen it. Michelle showed it to him; she keeps it in her purse.

Michelle is in complete control. Barry can only see his stick when Michelle allows him. If he's a good little boy she'll let him kiss it.

    By Sarah Palin

...Gaddafi is a brutal killer and Libya – not to mention the world – would be better off if he were out of power . Now is the time to speak out. Speak out for the long-suffering Libyan people. Speak out for the victims of Gaddafi’s terror. NATO and our allies should look at establishing a no-fly zone so Libyan air forces cannot continue slaughtering the Libyan people. We should not be afraid of freedom, especially when it comes to people suffering under a brutal enemy of America.

Largely because Obama was against intervention in Libya...

It was the Brits, the French and the Italians backed by the right in the US that forced his hand,,,

It is true. Initially the US didn't want to get involved, which is why we (the Brits) and the French were flying missions from Italy...

The US conceded and lent us command and control ability by moving the appropriate vessels into place,

I think that of the two candidates that you have he is more likely to be a better guide over the next few years.

That the western economy will collapse is a given, I am an analyst and we knew about this as far back as 2005. I suspect (and fear) that if Romney gets in then there will be a war both inside and outside the US that could quickly spiral out of control.

Well I dont believe that if Romney won there would be a war from his doing. It would be a war from what is now going on and would be carried over.I dont think that the economy will collapse if Romney got in, as I think he is a great business man and could fix the problem at hand over time, I do however think that things would get steadily worse in Obama's hands.

I would like to believe that Romney could fix the economy - unfortunately it is an international banking problem and not something that policy alone can fix.

It is a systemic issue and one for which there are now $Millions in prize money being offered to analysts and economists to any who can come up with a palatable solution to the problem.

These bouts of QE from the ECB and the Fed are short term fixes that cause problems in the future. They are only ever used in extremis... The Fed are now in round 3 QE in a short period of time - which to any who understand the economic system is very very worrying indeed. That is why the price of gold continues to climb.

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/fi...

The fear is that Mitt Romney will seek to solve this economic problem through war.

I don't believe money is something worth warring over - especially as there are peaceful solutions.

    I agree with her:
"It’s about time our president stood up for America and condemned these Islamic extremists," Palin wrote.
But our born and raised, Muslim President sides with his...brothers.
    What else should we expect?
