"In the Face of Evil: Reagan's War in Word and Deed" producer Stephen K. Bannon is taking on a new conservative politician to focus his film-making abilities on.

According to RealClearPolitics, Bannon has put up $1 million to produce a two-hour documentary about Sarah Palin's time as the governor of Alaska, apparently in an attempt to clear her name for a 2012 candidacy.

"This film is a call to action for a campaign like 1976: Reagan vs. the establishment," Bannon told RealClearPolitics. "Let's have a good old-fashioned brouhaha."

RealClearPolitics claims that the movie, titled "The Undefeated," was Palin's idea. However, he was more than happy to not only helm the project, but to finance it as well.

"The Undefeated" is slated for June release. The Los Angeles Times reports that it will premiere in Iowa, where polls suggest that conservative constituents hold her in high regard.
