Sarah Palin and Newt Gingrich: The Visionary and the Hack

- Now that an intense internecine battle is raging over how Republicans should react to Doug Hoffman's Conservative Party bid for New York's 23rd , one thing is certain: it is Newt Gingrich whose reputation is in shambles, and it is he who should seek political advice from Sarah Palin as to how he might regain his lost stature.... Way to go Sarah!
Somehow you managed to divide the Republican Party, over a little known district in NY, and give a Democratic win for the first time in 150 years.

No wonder McConnell wouldn't let you say his name on your unsolicited robocalls for his "benefit".

    Keep helping the GOP!
Really! Please, keep talking and helping!

I've always had my doubts about The Newt ever since the fiasco of the 90's, and seeing here on SH that he has been a frequent Visitor on the Whitehouse Guestbook raised more than a few Red Flgs!!! Just what is The Newt so busy with, meeting Obama and his Comrades at the Commizar's Palace? I smell a Rat here (it's beyond Fishy) ......a new, sneaky Rat/Newt!! meeting obama comrades commizars palace smell rat fishy sneaky ratnewt meeting obama comrades commizars palace smell rat fishy sneaky ratnewt

Yep. He's been revealed for who he really is - a compromiser.

Newt Gingrich has exposed himself as a RINO, dedicated democrat apologist who support any ultra-liberal, socialist or communist as long as they claim to be a republican.

Sarah Palin is such a Visionary that she quit being Governor of Alaska and picked a loser for NY district 23 and turned against a fellow Republican.

Why are Moderate driven out of the Republican Party?

Scuzzy was a moderate? The democrat complained she was a bigger spender than he was and she supported him after quitting and running. I'd rather slide down a fifty foot razor blade naked that vote for another RINO or NEOCON. Palin called a spade a spade. A democrat who at least admits he is a democrat has more credibility than Scuzzy will ever have credibility or principles.

Scozzafava was not close to being a moderate, she's more liberal than a liberal Democrat. How could she ever have been chosen on the Republican ticket?

What is your definition of a Liberal? Liberals stands for the rights of all American. You wanted NY23 red district to elect a man who did not even live in the district and knew nothing about what is right for that district.

    People before ideology my friend.

Well for not being from the district, having much funding, much campaign time, no Republican party support and the Republican candidate dropping out supporting the Democrat; I would consider that he did quite well only losing by 4 points.

He had lots of support. Dick Armey, Glen Beck, Sarah Palin, and all of those so calls Conservative wanted the people of NY23rd district to bet against their own self interest for a Moron. Thank god we New Yorkers are smarter. We would never make a mistake an elect a Sarah Palin.

Glenn Beck supports no local candidates and he specifically said he could not support Hoffman although he liked many things Hoffman stood for. NY, MA, NJ and CA are all hopelessly broke and are running all their wealthy citizens out of their states, by taxing them excessively. With their exit goes many jobs and even more tax income. You continue to vote politicians in office who are corrupt and are destroying the future of your state. Hoffman was a candidate who wanted to stop the spending and get your tax structure in line with other states so you can improve your business atmosphere. That would be a good thing for your future as a state, but you chose the same old, same old. But then again it's probably to late for your state anyway.

Yeahh right. Crying idiot (Beck) who stated he is an entertainer is to be believed. He had Hoffman on his show and exposed Hoffman for what he was. A fool who knew nothing about the area he was running for.

Keep listening to an entertainer for political advice.

I'm talking about Hoffman's ideas for district #23 not Glenn Beck's. If you live in NY, are you happy with what is going on in your state? If you are, you will be very easy to convince you need to pay more taxes and give up more rights.

Interesting that I noticed this on SH at this time. Early this morning I sent off a note to Newt after getting an e-mail from him on "American Solutions." It read: "Mr. Gingrich . . . Living in XXX for over 34 years I became an admirer of you. That being said, I am soooooo disappointed in you supporting the so-called Republican candidate in the New York (HOUSE) race, just because she was a republican. The lady was against almost all of my core conservative values. I guess you're not paying attention to the Tea Party protestors. It's not business as usual in politics. WE ARE INDEPENDENT CONSERVATIVES. As far as I'm concerned you are a TYPICAL WASHINGTON POLITICIAN. . . what's in it for ME and the PARTY. . . not what is GOOD for the COUNTRY!!! You can kiss goodby, any support for you from my family for POTUS in 2012!!! POLITICAL BLOW HARD, comes to mind!"

I think Newt screwed himself real good!!! He's not the deep thinker he portrays himself to be!
