Santorum Calls President Obama a "Government Nig"

At least in this contest. That's incredible! What a slip of the tongue. I prefer Mitt Romney's polished speaking manner. He could get a Toastmaster's Award. In all honesty and candor, like my ex Charl, used to say, I've been biting my tongue all day in exasperation myself. It is not easy to speak mincing words all day. But still... Is he ready for prime time?

I listened to this from every source I could find it, including the full 30 minute speech and am dumbfounded. I can thing of nothing else that he was about to say.
My judgment of Santorum is not based on this clip alone. I have been trying to figure this man out for some time. I am particularly perplexed with the people who support him. Who in the world would vote for this beast?

I don't know that the video is authentic... but if it is... then yes he was getting ready to say what he says when he is at home with his wife! This is just another reason why we should all be supporting Ron Paul! He loves god his country and all of us and that is why he wants to help us for real! All the others are just playing the political game because they are either not smart enough to fix the problem or they are owned by the rich men that are tying to tear America apart! Please people open your eyes and see why the media is not being fair to Ron Paul! As much as I dislike mittens, Santorum is somebody from the past, when the N word was used by bigots all the time. He caught himself, before all of the word came out, and that is why he stuttered, after he said nig.

I'm happy it's being recorded but what's scariest is the public that supports him.

The white "race card" has been around a lot longer than the black one. I don't know if this video is doctored, but this election is going to get a lot nastier before it gets nicer.

It looks to me like the video was tampered with. Ricky's lips were in a slightly different position, as if he is say the letter "F" just after the "nit-cah" jump in the video.

Regardless... I don't like his tax policy of picking and choosing who wins and who doesn't. Santorum want specific industries to get favorable tax treatment while other industries get screwed. Why is that any better than the dumbass system we have now? We need simplification and fairness, and Santorum gives is more crony favoritism and complexity.

That's enough for me right there. I don't give a hoot about his religious stuff... but I do care about someone that wants to use the force of the gov't to unfairly treat one group of Americans differently than it treats another group.

AMEN, and how can we be sure of anything seeing an obviously doctored video anyway? I've seen much clearer videos of Santorum's little speech. Unfortunately, it really does appear that was what he was about to say.

I really respect Senator Santorum for his positions on Family Values. However, this was really out of line and he owes the President an apology. You know, the real problem for Santorum, Romney, Gingrich, and all the other Republicans is that the President has succeeded where they all have failed. The President has been elected President, something none of them are ever going to do. They somehow believe that the people of this country accidentally pulled the wrong lever, because in their opinion no one would vote for him instead of them. What fools!
