    Happy? No, just glad the system worked as designed. Now, if only people had acted as well as the system did this time and turned this man in years before he did all this damage.

    He had a fair trial. The evidence was overwhelming. He is a very sick man who should be locked up forever! Prison is too good for him. He should be sent to Guantanamo Bay Prison and waterboarded every day for the rest of his life. He then should be joined by all of the enablers who knew this was going on and did nothing about it.

    I think the verdict was correct. But it's nothing to celebrate. I'd be happy if such things never happened. It doesn't bring me any joy to see that it all did happen, and that after 20 years or more of getting away with it, Sandusky is finally stopped and punished. It jest brings a sense that justice, while sometimes painfully slow, does prevail.

    I won't go as far as to say i'm "happy" ,however i do believe justice was served in this case.he took so much from these young men, things that can never be replaced no matter how many years he spends behind bars, but at least they have the satisfaction of knowing he did not get away with this.

    I don't celebrate or take pleasure in other's pain. I doubt this will bring any kind of peace to the victims. I don't think Sandusky is going to survive prison. There is no joy here.

    His Defense has a good case although I have had my doubts and still favor the prosecution more. I'ts just that now it is being said that Sandusky's adopted son is speaking out against him when in the beginning of all of this mess, he started out defending the man. Which is it!?

    I am happy for the victims because their healing can begin. Society has spoken up for them.
    I am happy because the publicity of this case could help many people throughout the country. It could help past victims and change how the system works so children will be protected.

    Every child is a precious gift to humanity. Every child will take a unique role in the fabric of humanity.
    "I love children because they are our future"..., they are our hope that we can do it better.
    It does matter because this abuse changed them, as sexual abuse changes all victims.
    These victims were very brave to stand up. They may have saved many lives.

    There isn't anything to be truly happy, especially since there was a time he could of be stopped earlier, which causes some anger. There is some comfort that he has be stopped now.

    I don't see how anyone could be HAPPY about this. Relieved, yes; satisfied, yes; but not happy. Sandusky hurt so many people -- including his own son -- and there's no way to find happiness in that imo.

    I hope these men/boys can move on, and I hope they believe that good people cared enough about them to see that justice was done. And I hope knowing that helps.

    Nothing to be "happy" about, young men had their lives torn apart, and a man destroyed their lives and his. This is justice and Sandusky deserves this verdict but nothing undoes the harm that was done

    "Happy" isn't the word that comes to mind. I'm glad justice has been served, but there are still a lot of boys and young men whose pain will never go away. It probably wrong of me, but I do hope Sandusky finds out what other inmates think of child molesters.

    I am only happy in that he was convicted and a jury has finally handed down the correct verdict. This predator needed to be removed from society!
