San Francisco to rename street after Pelosi

San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee will rename a street after former-Speaker Nancy Pelosi today in Golden Gate Park.

"Middle Drive East" which connects Martin Luthjer King Jr. Drive and John F Kennedy Drive in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park will now be renamed in honor of Pelosi and her 25 years of service in Congress.

San Francisco is the second city to name a street after Pelosi. Baltimore, her home town, renamed a street in her honor in January 2007 shortly after she was elected Speaker of the House.

They missed the mark. Pelosi Court would be an ideal name for a dead-end road that leads to a string of abandoned warehouses and shuttered manufacturing sites.
