Have you seen the comments here on SH from anyone who disagrees with the Patriot Warrior, POTL, PWCM, JLA etc etc party line?
This is nothing compared to their rabid abuse .

Actually, I never liked her. She has very empty eyes. Soulless.
The way she talks, anytime I have ever heard her, she is very shallow and uses foul language to make her point seem pertinent. Just another knee-jerk reactionary super dupe.

its sad that people can't accept opposing opinions.
its sad that people make so much of what some celeb says live and let live

I am not asking for her to be punished. I just think she showed a serious lack of class with her posts. She can continue to live however she wants.

"Class" is a rare commodity in a society that places wealth above intellect, beauty above brains, and rude behavior over integrity.

    Sign o' the times.

I guess that's why I appreciate it so much when I do see it exhibited in a celebrity.

Why, because they get so much exposure?

I don't hold celebs to any higher or lower standard than any other person.

Why not? If they are going to take on the responsibility to try and influence people on a grand level, we should hold them to a higher standard than a drunk yelling across the bar at someone.

They can 'take on' whatever they like; that's their business.

It doesn't affect how I view them in the slightest.

Celebs are just richer than people like me, more famous, and in some cases, (certainly not all) more talented.

That doesn't make their opinions more 'valuable' than mine.

That doesn't make them more valuable people than me.

We all choose our own standards, and our role models.

Mine have never revolved around people who sing, dance, entertain and 'pretend' for a living.

My standards don't change. My expectation that someone would meet them has some flexibility though. I don't worship celebrities. Their signatures may be valuable to some people, but they mean nothing to me.

    Good to know.

    Me either:

I don't put people on pedestals, then wait eagerly for them to fall.
