go ahead, try to take my mags. i'll have to empty them into the people trying to take them first though.

This is good for the democrats. This is good for the country. Keep trying to pass gun control laws that are ineffective, just so you can slowly kill guns in america. This will kick out what little democrats remain in congress. It sounds good, limit high capacity clips/mags. Except, it is not going to help at all. If 10 people are shot with revolvers, these idiots will ask to cap it to 1 round.

Vote them all out. Parasites to our freedoms. Murder is illegal. Plotting murder is illegal. Gun control should be illegal.

Look at what happened in the Balkan states in the 1990's (Formerly Yugoslavia) They has strict controls on firearms as did much of Europe, and there was still a genocide. You could confiscate every gun in the US, and things like this will still happen. Look at the Unabomber. This guy in Colorado was just as smart, and did make his own explosives. He would have killed many more people had he decided on that route. DIsarming the populace is not the answer. It will just make more victims by rape, robbery, assault, and murder, as those people will no longer have an avenue for self defense. Limiting high cap mags is only a knee jerk reaction by the Devilcrats to calm their docile supporters and make them feel safe. As another person said here in the comments, one can always reload. But had there been a theater full of CCW holders, the "Joker" may had been the only victim that day. But then again weapons were banned in the theater. Didn't stop the "Joker". Laws will not stop criminals. But you can!

What the bill needs is an amendment that imposes the same limit on military and law enforcement equipment. If the Army can live with a 10-round limit, so can I. Something tells me they won't agree.

These are people that believe that only the police/military should have firearms. How many people were shot to death by the police this month? Why aren't we talking about limiting guns to them?

Meanwhile, the Mexican drug cartels will get whatever magazine size they want -- even if the have to drop Eric Holder as their supplier.

This will not stop any problem.....It is the way THEY will start to dismantle the Right to Bear Arms....AND WHY would this stop anything like happened in Colorado or anyplace else for that matter...a person bent on this type of thing, will just bring more guns...or more bullets and reload the clips...If this is the type of idiot things the government is spending their time on, no wonder so much in this country is going to hell...

Sorry; often times my sarcasm doesn’t come across as well in text as it does in voice.

I was making fun of how they always want to go to 10 round mag’s; somehow thinking that will change the ability of the weapon system. Never stopping to consider, that people can change mag’s in a hurry. One of the best examples I know of, is the SKS with the 10 round stripper clips; I’ve seen guys reload those with incredible speed.

Dumorats would ban guns altogether if they thought they could get away with it! Besides, who needs 10 rounds? Wound with the first shot, kill if necessary, with the second. On second thought--- why waste ammo?
