Paul Ryan says he's a big fan of the band Rage Against the Machine, but not surprisingly, it's an unrequited love.
Rage guitarist Tom Morello penned a 467-word rant in Rolling Stone against the Republican vice presidential candidate Thursday night:

Rage against the Machine, is pretty must against the 'establishment, for lack of a better term'. Personally, I like what they stand for but I've never liked their music. It's not bag music, but their style just wasn't for me...

Hi Chris. It is like this though. I like the sound of certain singers too, but if I didnt like the lyrics or their msg, I certainly wouldnt say they were my favorite anything. Morello is political and doesnt understand people that arent, but that is not a bad thing, it is good. People need to pay more attention to the politics of this country.

I wasn't trying to be cold. I know you and other folks don't like my vision of America. I just can't get on board with the ultra rich getting richer off the backs of the middle class and the mildly rich. I despise government controlling our lives. I want a free republic and I want to live amongst people that want the same thing.

It is a lot to ask I know.

How does the government control your life? I want laws and do abide by them, and I want the evil ones to go to prison. I dont mind paying taxes to have clean air and water, good roads, and a civilized nation.

The federal needs to be about 80% smaller and more power to the states. I am all for paying taxes as long as all people pay the same percentage.

Prisons are cool by me and I want law and order WITHOUT having to have my privacy invaded.

States cannot take care of all of ltheir needs without the federal govt. They are constantly begging for money, but hate the feds. Kind of like Ryan condemning the stiumulus and then crying for the money. Perry is the same.

However, I was speaking primarily of the pople that vote for them. The normal folks trend toward Republican where the ultra rich, the freeloaders, the feminists, the sexual deviants, the old people, the minorities, the union thugs, the college types and other folks that hate traditional America tend to vote for Democrats.
