Ryan has been saying for years that the Presidents stimulus package didn't work. Yet, he sent letters on four different occasions requesting stimulus fund from the government. Fair or Foul?

Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) has ascended to political stardom among conservatives for his staunch opposition to big federal spending programs, but the newly minted Republican vice presidential nominee sought grant money from the 2009 stimulus package he has consistently derided.

I have never asked for stimulus money, not because I didn't need the bush refund, but because I am morally opposed to it.

It's foul because he railed against the the stimulus even after those request and is lying about it now. Sure after being caught in his lie, Reverse Robinhood 2.0 now says that it was a mistake, pretending that as it someone else was initially responsible for taking the stimulus money. How nobble of him to say he's going to take responsibility for it now, NOT!

Republican politicians everywhere are at the same time spouting hatred about the Obama stimulus and lying about it being a failure, while simultaneously bragging about the good things they did with it for their constituents. The GOP of the 21st century are the ultimate in hypocrisy.

What do you people think? That the Stimulus was Obama money? NO, it is the money of the people of the United States. Good grief.

No they don't need to shut up about anything, and it is not the money, it is what is done with it . We have free speech in this country, and they can say wEtf they want about Socialism any time they want. Once the money is allocated to those programs then it isn't DISTRIBUTED by party lines, good grief.

There's a long list of Republicans who said the Stimulus wouldn't work, and still cashed the checks. It's money though Not many would turn that offer down.

It was hilarious when the very same republicans who condemned the president's stimulus package went around campaigning their state with the over sized checks showing their constituents how they had brought the bacon home.

Most of them wanted to Grandstand with their talking points. Figuring their district was so insignificant that their hypocrisy would never be uncovered.
