- Hirnungah Mancandy 2012/08/04 01:21:58It doesn't bother me/I'm OK with it (Please comment)+1THEY BRAND CATTLE , AND I'M SURE THE CAT WAS PUT TO SLEEP DURING THE PROCESS ... IT'S A THING .reply
- Sophie 2012/06/15 02:44:56Sick/Wrong (Please comment)I do not like the idea at all, and I am sure the cat does not either.reply
- Solomonster 2012/06/14 23:27:21Very cool. (Please comment)That doesn't make it a GOOD thing. But I still think it's pretty cool. My dog had a tattoo put on her stomache when she got spayed. So it's not like it's unheard of. I'm not saying I'd do it to my cat. But that's not the question. The question is do I think it's cool? Yes I do.reply
- apachehellfire65 2012/06/14 23:25:47It doesn't bother me/I'm OK with it (Please comment)this i have heard is a common practice for some learning to tattoo. they shave a cat, tattoo it, and when the fur grows back you cant see it.reply
- Doreen 2012/06/14 23:20:51Sick/Wrong (Please comment)+1It is painful enough to us and cats have much more sensitive skin. I sure as hell hope he put that cat under while it was being done. What an a**hole.reply

i have five and didn't think they hurt.reply -
+1I have 24, and yes, some hurt more than othersreply - Doreen apacheh... 2012/06/14 23:44:03
+2Mine was in a sensitive place and it did not really hurt that much ( just smarted a little ). Cat's skin is much more sensitive and cats are much more likely to get an infection even if well cared for and bad reaction to the dye is more likely.reply - Magnus ... Doreen 2012/06/14 23:59:48
+1No to mention their skin is paper-thin and rips easily, too. Something I learned after a botched closure on my female cat. Never let them use the "glue"...reply - Doreen Magnus ... 2012/06/15 00:01:57
+1It is pretty thin. You would think that vets would know better.reply - Magnus ... Doreen 2012/06/15 00:05:20
County Vets don't give a toss, or so I'm led to believe. That particular incident had to happen at 10PM too, damn thing wouldn't stop getting wider so had to do the whole emergency vet clinic thing. Only took it from one little open spot, about two hours to just open all the way and more (and that was with a halo). Staples fixed her up though. Kind of peeved her hair never grew back... I think that was negligence on the vet's part too. These both being after, of course, letting her all but tear her claws out in the carrier first. I was PISSED.reply - Doreen Magnus ... 2012/06/15 05:04:35
I would not have paid them. What idiots. Where did they get their license? I hope she is alright now.reply - Magnus ... Doreen 2012/06/15 05:31:53
Oh she's fine now, her claws grew back in and after a good vet fixed her up she's doing perfectly (I'm still disappointed her fur never grew back but it's less to brush, she's a Maine Coon) it was a lot more scary for me than it was her - she wasn't phased at all by that, she's a tough little one. And I do wish I could have done something but unfortunately they make you pay up-front and they also make you sign a waiver for all liability. Should have given me a clue but I'd have expected them to be professionals, they were after-all county run. Never making that mistake again, definitely. Wound up costing us $200 anyway, so if there's a next time I'm just going the vet office route instead, and going with the staples - never that 'glue' trash again. She was my first female, I've had two boys so never had to deal with the whole spay thing. Live and learn.reply - sockpuppet 2012/06/14 23:12:19Sick/Wrong (Please comment)Leave animals alone. The Russians aren't very concerned with animal welfare to begin with.reply
