Rush Limpballs is at it again!

On his radio show, Rush Limbaugh said that police and firefighters are
nice to have, but they take away from private sector jobs and contribute
nothing to the economy.

I am just going to throws this out there. If the police and fireman were not on the job and fires and crime ran wild would this not break the economy in those area? Because folks would be moving out of those areas.

No doubt Rush is an idiot! Talks to much!

But there is a point worth making! Since when did it become the Federal Governments place to dole out the funds to the States and Local Municipalities for these services? And that is the real point!

Since it's expansion in 1979 what has it done to actually improve our education as it compares to the rest of the worlds? One can make a case that this is the timeline when it starts to decline on that scale!

It's one thing to post a personal view, and another, to offer a more balanced approach by providing us a link to the assertion. This being Soda Head, I'm sure you can understand that. So, with that said, I'll stand by while you find it, and then perhaps we can take it from there, lest we misconstrue this as sound byte reporting?

I'd like to see his lard azz on a ladder truck for just one hour. He would be crying for more oxycontin. Okay, read the entire thing - I did not get the same impression as you - seemed to me he was discussion the difference between public sector jobs and private but i couldn't find that he said they take away from private sector - he did say they had been counted in private sector in the past and now Obama now says they are public sector. Hell, who cares - Rush L is just another talking head like Schultz, Maddow, Matthews and Hannity.

Their money spends like everyones. No one wants to live where there are no fire fighters or police, except in places like here. We even have a part time deputy and volunteer fire department. Ol' Limpballs is a nutball. I hope he implodes soon. A lot of people will make money on the clean up job!
