Rush Limbaugh Caught in ANOTHER Lie About Sex Tours and Illegal Viagra ?
On June 7, 2011, Rush Limbaugh began his program with a series of juvenile insults, puns, and double-entendres regarding Anthony Weiner and the scandal he touched off when racy images and messages he exchanged with various women over social media were exposed by his political opponents.
Limbaugh was casting stones in his own glass house.
In 2009 LImbaugh was detained by United States Customs officers after returning from the Dominican Republic with Viagra in his possession. The prescription wasn't written in Limbaugh's name, so the authorities suspected unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Moreover, a simple google search of the terms "adult travel" (NSFW) reveals that the Dominican Republic has earned an outsized reputation as one of the world's hottest destinations for sex tourists.
It did not seem clear to the caller why Weiner's sexcapades were any more suitable for public consumption than Limbaugh's, or why Limbaugh felt he had license to criticize.
The Audio of Rush Limbaugh claiming it never happened on his June 2011 show:
The AP article reporting the incident in 2009:
(CBS/AP) Rush Limbaugh could see a deal with prosecutors in a long-running prescription fraud case collapse after authorities found a bottle of Viagra in his bag at Palm Beach International Airport. The prescription was not in his name.
Limbaugh was detained for more than three hours Monday at the airport after returning from a vacation in the Dominican Republic. Customs officials found the Viagra in his luggage but his name was not on the prescription, said Paul Miller, a spokesman for the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
Miller said the alleged violation could be a second-degree misdemeanor. The sheriff's office was investigating and will soon turn the case over to the state attorney's office, which had no immediate comment Tuesday.
Under the deal reached last month with prosecutors, Limbaugh was not to be arrested for any infraction for 18 months in exchange for authorities deferring a charge of "doctor shopping." Prosecutors had alleged the conservative talk-show host illegally deceived multiple physicians to receive overlapping painkiller prescriptions.
Limbaugh also must submit to random drug tests and continue treatment for his admitted addiction to painkillers.
Limbaugh's doctor had prescribed the Viagra, but it was "labeled as being issued to the physician rather than Mr. Limbaugh for privacy purposes," Roy Black, Limbaugh's attorney, said in a statement.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection examined the 55-year-old radio commentator's luggage after his private plane landed at the airport, Miller said.
Investigators confiscated the drugs, which treat erectile dysfunction. Limbaugh was released without being charged.
For now, Limbaugh is joking about his brush with the law. He joked about the search on his radio show Tuesday, saying Customs officials didn't believe him when he said he got the pills at the Clinton Library and he was told they were blue M&Ms.; He later added, chuckling: "I had a great time in the Dominican Republic. Wish I could tell you about it."

+9Apparently Rush is not only worthless as a newscaster, he's also worthless in bed without little pills.

Rush Limbaugh and his 4th wife 31 years his junior.
Right and their minions like Limbaugh. Once we bearing Left understand that, we wouldn't get so thoroughly amazed at their hypocrisy. Go figure.
But, he was caught with pills that were not perscribed to him....Period.
Any speculation as to what/who he was doing in the Dominican Republic, is just speculation.
I always have to tell the right to "reel it in" when they start claiming what they infer as "fact"....Now I have to do it here.
Keep it in the realm of reality, kiddies...
Now why anybody listens to the fool is something I don't understand. If you want a demagogue, Glen Beck is much more entertaining....not much more intelligent mind you.
Just because we listen to Rush doesn't mean we condone his actions. He was the first conservative voice on the airwaves, he opened the door to alternative news sources, and for that opportunity for balance I applaud and thank him. His personal weaknesses have nothing to do with his political opinions.
I mean, isn't that what all you libs said about Clinton when he was caught in his dalliances with an aid under his auspices and then he broke federal laws by lying about it to the Grand Jury? At least Rush is not representing the US as it's president when he is caught in illegalities.
