Rosen apologized to Ann Romney later Thursday for her "poorly chosen" words. So why are Democrats more polite than Republicans?

bob 2012/04/12 21:10:57
What can I say Republicans especially conservitives were born rude and crude
Democrats more polite than because their parents taught them to be polite
Honest people like Democrats can afford to be polite
Snake oil salesmen can't afford to be polite while they're ripping you off

Rosen did not apologize, and characterizing her weasel words as an apology is simply a lie, and you know it, "bob".

    ____________________________

Just to be clear, Rosen followed, "I apologize to Ann Romney... " with, "my words were poorly chosen" which is leftard code speak for, "If I'd just said the same thing in a slightly more plausibly deniable way, I could've dissed SAHMs just exactly as I meant to and gotten away with it."

    Weasel.

You cannot start an apologize off with the word “IF” and be taken seriously.

LOL --- so tell me where was I rude? Where was I crude? And how was my answer socially unacceptable?

But, then TYPICAL DEMOCRAT RESPONSE --- turn it into a personal attack when you don't agree.

If Democrats were more "polite" they wouldn't make stupid statements like Rosen did, then have to backpedal when their bosses and henchmen decide to throw them under the bus as the rest of the Obama administration did to Rosen. Dems have no sense of propriety, because they generally have no standards. Therefor, a public slapdown is needed to deal with most things Dems say.

I do not think that either are more polite, however I do see how some Democrats may seem more polite because some are willing to admit when wrong, while SOME Republicans (in the news) are not......But I must say this......She shouldn't have apologized at all and I will explain why..................Romney, himself, put his wife into this situation. Ann Romney said ONE incriminating thing...."I CHOSE TO BE A STAY AT HOME MOM...." Most women, like myself, do NOT HAVE A CHOICE. And how in the world can she claim to understand what US women really need if she hasn't been in the work force. Being a stay at home mother is VERY difficult, however try being a full time mother and father that works, tries to find adequate daycare (which is difficult, finding someone you can trust with your kids is hard and then you have to ensure that the right daycare provider is in your budget) take part in PTA's, chauffeurs, cooks, cleans, counsel, play doctor and nurse...etc. etc. People need to be very careful of what they say. Ann Romney's statement did offend me. Did she mean to? of course not. However I understand what Rosen was trying to convey.

Make no mistake about it, Democrats are vile creatures. They are collectively engaging in damage control, nothing more. It has nothing to do with niceness or civility, one of their own torpedoed their assertions that the right is waging war on women, totally false btw, and now they are in panic mode. MSNBC is working overtime to help Obama and the Dems deflect this.

I listened to her rambling explanation last night and, if she actually said, "I apologize," I didn't hear it. In the same moment she said she was misspoken or whatever, she then went on to say, "however......."
That's not an apology. That's merely an admission of guilt, and that actually, you're not sorry at all, but yielding to pressure TO apologize because you've put your foot,in your big, fat, mouth.

    Typical.

    Rosen spoke the truth.

    http://politicalticker.blogs....

Rosen, also a CNN political contributor and a working mother, made her comments on CNN's "AC360."
"What you have is Mitt Romney running around the country, saying, 'Well, you know, my wife tells me that what women really care about are economic issues, and when I listen to my wife, that's what I'm hearing.' Guess what? His wife has actually never worked a day in her life," Rosen said.
"She's never really dealt with the kinds of economic issues that a majority of the women in this country are facing, in terms of how do we feed our kids, how do we send them to school, and why do we worry about their future," Rosen continued, adding that Romney "just seems so old fashioned when it comes to women."

Rush Limbaugh apologized too, Bob. And he didn't need his boss to tell him to do it, the way Hilary Rosen did.

That's because Rush Limbaugh is his own boss. It's also because ,at least in my opinion, he has more integrity than the typical Democrat.

Politicians as a rule are only polite when they want something, like vote or re-election,the only reason for apology was its kind of an unwritten rule [family off limits] remember the flack about Sarah P about her kids was not taken lightly by people, when someone's family
has an illness,it is really out of line,I did not know Ann Romney even had M.S.,that explains
part of Mitt Romney passion for health care, even if you are filthy rich things like that come home to all.It also kind of shows a different side to M.Romney, nice of the dem's to bring it out.
