Wally-Molon Labe! 2012/01/26 14:12:56yes+16Of course Ron Paul is right. What America needs is the exact opposite of everything Obama and his puppet masters stand for.

Given that fact what do you think he should have done differently? And what makes you think he is a liar? He has attempted to do everything he said he would in spite of the problems this country faces but has been stopped at almost every turn. The party of no has been very effective and their propaganda has been very effective with you also it would seem.
I noticed you didn't answer my questions. I understand.
1). Overhauled the food safety system;
2). Approved the Lily Ledbetter "Equal Pay" for women rule;
3). Ended "Don't Ask/Don't Tell" discrimination in the military;
4). Passed the Hate Crimes bill in Congress;
5). Appointed two progressive women to the U.S. Supreme Court including the first
Latina;
6). Pushed through the Affordable Health Care Act, outlawing denial of coverage for pre-
existing conditions, extending until age 26 health care coverage of children under
parent's plans, steps toward "Medicare for All;"
7). Expanded the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) health care for
children;
8). Pushed through a $789 economic stimulus bill that saved or created 3 million jobs
and began task of repairing the nation's infrastructure;
And YES they were Democrats, but they were the Conservative part of the Democratic party. The same States Right attitude that today's GOP is displaying...
Party labels aren't in this issue. Ideology is...
He's not against Civil Rights. He's against government mandated morality. He believes in an individualistic moral code, not a code drafted by the legislature. It has been argued that the most "moral" man is that which goes against his will to be immoral but does moral things, but I side with the opposition to that argument which states that the most moral man is the man who feels good by being moral; which means he is not moral simply because it is expected. If I remember correctly, this argument was held between Socrates and Aristotle.
It's a shame that people like yourself look at personal responsibility of fairness as some slight. The government is the very institution that allowed slavery and implemented segregation, yet you believe government is the entity which will solve racial issues? Personally, I find that type of logic to be insane.
The greatest atrocities in world history were the result of government mandates and actions. If history is the greatest teacher - which it is - it becomes impossible to believe that government is the means to our end...which is equality for all man, woman, and child.
To fully disclose, I am not a RP supporter. I do, however, greatly respect his vision.
Its was and still is wrong...
The civil rights act violates the 9th, 10th, 13th, and 14th Amendments.
