I wish I could get all my damn money back! Why pay in a failed system...I can take my money and get a greater return on it!! Why should I allow the dumbasses in DC to tell me what to do about my retirement money!

Where did Ron Paul say that? Why do you neos care about Ron Paul? Isn't ORomney your nominee? Should you be gearing up for the battle against Ofraud instead of wasting your biased energy on Ron Paul?

Here, why don't you explain this ...

Ron Paul considers Social Security unconstitutional and he has tried for many years for the program to be "phased out" Meaning Gradual!. He says that the Social Security system is in "bad shape ... "The numbers aren't there"; funds are disapearing because Congress borrows from Social Security funds every year to fund the budget. Ron Paul's budget proposal for 2013 would guarantee to uphold Social Security commitments to older workers while allowing Americans under 25 to opt out of participating in the program.

This questions is so misleading and False.

Actually, he advocates giving everyone their money back, and ending social security altogether. But as he's reached the arbitrary age when he's entitled to start getting the money that's been stolen from him back, why exactly shouldn't he get it??

If you've paid into something your entire working life what moron wouldn't collect from it? Stupid people ask stupid questions.

SS is unconstitutional, so are personal income taxes. Being forced to pay into something is against the rule of law in this country. That doesn't mean that our crooked government won't try it.

Ron Paul is the perfect example of just being nuts. And of course just what a hypocrite he is. The best thing that old fart has done is divide the con party weakening its base to make sure for a landslide win for Obama. GO RON PAUL. I mean after your nap of course

I just love it when the uninformed allow their mouth to overload their silly arses.

Maybe in your infinite wisdom you can explain why collecting benefits from a program you have been forced to contribute to all your working life is hypocritical? You are aware that Ron Paul does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program? You know the one our food stamp president is part of.

I don't expect an intelligent answer from someone who believes 0bama has a chance of winning but why don't you give it a whirl.

Actually no. He's never proposed ending SS and cutting everyone off of it. All he's proposed is an opt out system to allow those that do not wish to pay and not receive SS.

Um yes -- it is. Stop trying to whitewash Ron Paul's statements. He has on MULTIPLE occasions in the past claimed that SS was unconstitutional and that he would like to end it.

Good for him, bad for the rest of us.

    That's NOT what he said!

Good it should end at some point! If I had what I had paid in ivested where I would have put it I'd be a retired millionaire! As it is I will be!

I bused tables at 15 in a Mexican Resturant at 15 when I started paying in!

For over 20 years I have maxed everfy year by nov or before! They can cut me a check right now for that with 5z% interest per year compounded and I will never look back!

He's wise to want to preserve it until there is a viable alternative becuae when Lyndon Baines Johnson started misusing it tohide the real cost od the great Democrat War it has become a cash cow slush fund for them ever since!

I don't trust the government with any part of my retirement money and neither should you! They most certainly have proved time time again not to be trusted with large sums of money! And that can be said of BOTH corrupt major Parties!

Lyndon Johnson was a "Con"? Interesting!

"Success my Ass!" Big Government Nanny Tit that was 1st started by a Dem and then a Cash Cow for a Warmonger Dem!

That's the history and you cannot change it! Lyndon to Bob "Gee Bob how can we hide the cost of this war? Lyndon again: "This s***s getting HUGE" Bob Mac to Lyndon: "Put in with the general budget it's a freakin HUGE cash COW we can Tap!"

That's how it went there was not a "Con" in the room!

Laughable! Yes, I can see that you'd want the 5000+ NASA Engineers and many others laid off that supported those programs to have their children fed! Me too! Now WHO made it so they had to be on that assistance? Barack Hussein Obama! You do realize that Engineers working make a wage that can at least house feed & cloth their children?

Nice try at a "Con" job!

No it's more like it no matter what you say NOT what he said!

It's not like he even suggests he's going to abuse Executive Power to buy needed votes as some have done!

He suggests that over time it needs to go away. He then says he realizes many are dependent on it and says a long term solution that minimizes the effect of that change. Now that is what he says!

I understand what he said! Clearly you being utterly memorized by the current serving President and that he can do NO wrong I have a whole host of things I do not agree with as far as Ron Pauls positions! I have yet to see any post you make criticizing anything done by OUR serving President! How sad!
