Ron Paul Concedes Defeat, Son Rand Endorses Romney, Promises to Campaign For Him

Ron Paul concedes defeat

Independent Examiner

June 7, 2012. El Paso. Political campaign volunteers are a
passionate bunch. Their hearts tend to break if their beloved candidate
drops out of the race too early. Just ask Democratic candidate Tom
Barrett who was slapped across the face Tuesday night for conceding
victory to Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker too early in the evening for one
of his supporters. For a candidate like Ron Paul who has the most
beloved and dedicated political following in politics, he had to be very
careful in the way he brought his campaign to a halt. In fact, it’s
already happened.

Three weeks ago, the Presidential candidate and Texas Congressman
surprised his entire campaign when he abruptly announced that his run
for the Republican nomination for President was changing tactics.

Note: On the Sean Hannity Show this evening (6/7/2012) Rand Paul endorsed Mitt Romney, saying he had a lot in common with his father, and promised to campaign for him.

Yep, I believe he is taking the right course of action for the sake of America and his people. It now, allows Romney to concentrate on beating Obama and remove the communist threat, that, is engulfing America.

America, is the last bastion of hope and democracy and freedom and needs those who wish to defend the freedoms as is laid down in your Constitution are now united under the Stars and Strips.

While the foes of freedom and democracy in your country are scattered and divided, who's leaders are squabbling and arguing amongst each other as they vie for power at the top

Wow you people are so brainwashed! stop watching the mainstream media and that includes propaganda sites like sodahead! Romney is another Obama just look at his voting record! Romney will do what Obama is doing! Ron Paul never said he was dropping out just that it looks like he lost. And this could all be a tactic by Ron Paul! but more importantly even if Ron is out you shouldn't go vote for someone bad just to beat someone else who is bad. Evil is still Evil and once again Romney is another Obama! And as for Rand Paul if this isnt a tactic on his part to somehow help his dad then he is truly a traitor.

Who is the one who is brainwashed?

Romney wins Republican primaries in 5 states

(AP) WASHINGTON --" Mitt Romney won Republican presidential primaries in five states Tuesday, adding to a delegate total that already exceeds the number needed to win the nomination."

Romney won primaries in California, New Jersey, South Dakota, New Mexico and Montana.

A total of 264 delegates were at stake in Tuesday's contests - including 169 in California - and Romney has a chance to win them all."

Add to that the fact that his son, Rand, came on the Sean Hannity show and announced that his father had conceded and that he, Rand, was endorsing Romney. If anyone is "brainwashed", it would appear to be you!

Flip-flopping Romney can and will change his "values" if they become politically unpopular. So Rand may be left feeling duped after endorsing him once he discovers those values are no longer shared. I won't give Romney the chance - no way can I vote for a flip-flopping, vulture capitalist, animal abusing, bully and bold faced liar like him.

He was in single-digits in most primaries, which is why he quit running in primary states and concentrated on those with caucuses. He did better in caucuses but here in Idaho, a very "red" state, he got 16% of the caucus vote to nearly 70% for Romney. So no, he never was really a contender.

They did, and despite his overwhelming loss here in Idaho, they had plans to "pack" the state convention with their supporters to control the delegates to the national convention. I suppose his dropping out will change that.

Kudos to Rand Paul. He obviously cares more about this nation some of the Ron Paul supporters.

(Sorry.... I just had to block a Paul supporter for being particularly nasty because I said I'd support Romney. I try to respect Paul supporters and their feelings, but I'm sick of being called names because I don't fall in line with what they believe is right for this country.)

That's exactly the way I feel. If Ron Paul had become the nominee... I would have definitely voted for him. But he's not. And while Romney is not exactly what I wanted, I'm pretty darn sure there is no perfect candidate. So I'll vote for Romney in order to get Obama out. That will give us some breathing room. And we have to remember... Rand Paul is young and it's only a matter of time before he runs for President!!

maybe because what you believe is right for this country is actually wrong. You are another tool of the Mainstream media or more spefically wall street. Romney is another hand picked candidate. Ron Paul is the only one who is not owned by the elite and that is why the MSM constantly attack him.

Romney is another hand picked candidate.

You are broadcasting your ignorance! Romney is anything but an insider and "hand picked." In case you've been asleep since last November, Romney won a hard-fought nomination by winning primaries throughout the nation, running against seven other candidates, including Ron Paul.

As far as your notion that Romney is another Obama, you couldn't be more wrong. Obama has no experience in the free market, zero, while Romney was a highly successful venture capitalist. There is also a big difference between the health care system in Massachusetts and Obamacare - one is constitutional, the other isn't. Romney governed Massachusetts with a legislature that was 85% liberal democrat - he obviously had to compromise to govern the state. Obama on the other hand had no executive experience at all when he ran for the presidency.

Did it ever occur to you that you may very well be a tool for the progressives? Because I believe you are definitely helping them reelect Obama. That said... I am not going to argue with you over this. It's a waste of time and I don't like fighting with other Conservatives. If you continue calling me names, in spite of the fact that you are a Conservative, I will block you.

Romney served as Govenor four 4 years without taking any compensation. His salary from the Olympics was donated to charity, likewise his inhertance was also donated to charity. He is a good man whose heart is in the right place, whereas Obama has a black heart. You are free to cast your vote for anyone you choose. The rest of us will do what's right for our Country and rid the White House of this man that we know nothing about and who is no friend of this Countries or it's people.

If you study even the tiniest detail - they are only alike because they stand up to urinate

I will vote for the best candidate running, Romney and I will work to support him in that run.

Idiots who want others not to vote in order to get he Ass Wipe Obama back in office can move away from me - no way would I be stupid enough to 1. vote for Obama or 2 vote for any one not running or third party loser who couldn't make it in their own party.

Buzz off, Really - Go support your idol Obama
