Congressman Ron Paul quoted French poet Victor Hugo in describing his new campaign for liberty stressing that “armies cannot stop an idea whose time has come.”
The 2008 presidential candidate spoke exclusively to the Alex Jones show yesterday and described in detail how he is continuing the work he started during his Presidential campaign:
“To me it is amazing how the young generation have just jumped on this, just realised what is going on and they put together the burden of debt and the wars going on and the welfare state. I think we’ve really lit a fire.” Paul told an audience of millions.
Though the name of Dr Paul’s campaign has changed, he spoke of how the focus remains the same:
“We have a new group, it’s called Campaign for Liberty, which is a continuation of the other campaign, it’s always a campaign for liberty as far as I’m concerned. It’s in it’s early stages and we are backing and promoting a big rally in Washington on July 12th, I will be there and we are pushing that.” Paul said.
The group is also scheduled to hold a rally in Minneapolis at the same time as the Republican National Convention in September, which the Congressman was denied a speaking position at despite picking up a number of delegates during his campaign.
The new group currently has over 66,000 members and is aiming to recruit 100,000 before September 2nd.
Paul spoke of the unique nature of the movement he has seen blossom over the past year.
“The wonderful thing about our revolution was that it proved the old adage that ideas do have consequences. The founders weren’t just a rag tag bunch of guys getting together saying let’s go after the British, they were philosophers, they knew history and they had this all put together and they knew and understood it.”
“The most unique thing about our Revolution was that for the most part when revolutions come about they come about on the failure of one state and usually one group of thugs replaces another. Our revolution was unique in that the people had more freedom rather than less freedom and it wasn’t just a replacement of one group of authoritarians with another group.” Paul continued.
The Congressman also spoke of his optimism for the future but added words of caution concerning those currently in positions of power.
“I am more optimistic now because of the response that we have had and the willingness of so many people to look at the federal reserve, but we also have to realize how powerful they are and how much control they have and how they run the government, but at least I think we are being more competitive.”
“So far they haven’t rounded up tens of thousands, but there’s hints that they might if things get out of hand, it’s on the books now so it’s a tough fight and that’s why our ideas, a continuation of the founders’ ideas, must have consequences.” Paul concluded.
Ron Paul also spoke in detail about the situation with Iran and the US economy.

I believe as people are getting more fed up with the situation our country is in they will gather and gravitate to those like Ron Paul to work together to make the changes we need to get back our Constitution and our Constitutional rights. When the majority of the people wake up and see what is hapening I don't think anything will stop us from getting the changes and ideas put into place. We have the power to make it happen just a matter of people finally realizing just how much they have lost and stand to lose. I doubt some of the hard line Obama people will join as they would rather have a socialistic or communist government. Thanks for the post.View thread

For those of you who REALLY WANT DESIRE AND NEED TO HAVE A FREE NATION....Nevada has set a landmark in the halls of history.....Today they have reconvened and remade the NEVADA GOP...and even as I am posting this they are electing delegates to the NATIONAL CONVENTION....(mostly, if not all, Ron Paul delegates) THIS WILL COUNT TOWARDS RON PAUL WINNING THE STATE OF NEVADA....with will allow them to NOMINATE HIM FROM THE FLOOR which is what this whole thing is really all about. Once he has a state that he legally wins(ie gets the majority of delegates for that state) He can then be nominated for President at the National Republican Convention..
THIS MEANS THIS CAMPAIGN IS IN FULL GEAR!!!!!
Here is a bit of information on how they are doing this legally....
They did not have a quorum based on the old convention, but that convention has been invalidated due to rule breaking.(see below in bold) So now they have a new quorum with ...

They did not have a quorum based on the old convention, but that convention has been invalidated due to rule breaking.(see below in bold) So now they have a new quorum with full attendance..
Which means it is fully legal and shall withstand the scrutiny of legal challenges that may come!!!!
There is no "former" convention, the convention NEVER recessed. The convention has always been going on. Under RONR (10th. Ed.) sec. 20, p. 222, ln..
30,
"A recess is a short intermission in the assembly's proceedings, commonly only of a few minutes, which does not close the meeting and after which business will immediately be resumed at exactly the point where it was interrupted..
Thus, by definition, a recess can never be used to close a meeting. Under RONR, there are two types of recess: (1) a privileged motion to recess, requiring a majority vote, or (2) a unilateral recess being declared by the chair if it was provided for in the agenda or program. On April 26th, a RECESS was not provided for in the program or agenda (even though the agenda on April 26th. may have provided for ADJOURNMENT at a particular time, completely different from a recess)..
Thus, the purported recess on April 26th. would have been valid ONLY if a motion to recess was made and seconded by the convention delegates, and the motion was voted on by a majority of delegates. Even then, however, the recess could not have been used to close the meeting..
For this reason shown above they now have a new quorum that is roughly 300 (a bit more) delegates. And now business is taking place with full legality and force of law behind them..
WE THE PEOPLE SHALL AND WILL PREVAIL!!!!!
LONG LIVE THE REPUBLIC OF THESE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.....now GO spread the word to every man, women and creature that we can still win Ron Paul the PRESIDENCY OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!!

None of the above
You may want to watch the rest of it as well.
example; amendment XXI had to first repeal amendment XVIII before it could take effect. The only reason the Federal Graduated Income Tax is legal is because it is strictly voluntary. The government just fails to inform its citizens of this fact. In fact the government does everything it can to make its citizens believe it is mandatory.

Freedom Law School will offer $300,000 to the first person, who can demonstrate any of the below propositions. The winner can collect up to $300,000 if he/she can demonstrate all of the 3 propositions listed below:
1. Show what statute written by the Congress of the United States requires me to file an Income Tax Confession (Return) and pay an Income Tax.
2. How can I file an Income Tax Confession (Return) without waiving my 5th Amendment protected right to not give any information to the government that may be used to prosecute me?
3. Prove that the 16th Amendment of the United States Constitution, the Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, which, according to the IRS and modern American courts permitted the Income Tax to exist, was lawfully added to the U.S. Constitution.
Freedom Law School declares that:
There is no statute that makes any American Citizen, who works for a living in the United States of America, liable or responsible to pay the income tax. Individuals only become liable to pay the income tax when they voluntarily file a tax return, and the I.R.S. follows its assessment procedures as outlined in the Internal Revenue Code.

If there were a statute which clearly and unequivocally required the filing of tax returns, such a statute would be unconstitutional under the present income tax system to the extent that it would require individuals to give the government information which could be used against them to prosecute them criminally. Although the IRS and the modern American Courts claim that the 16th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution permitted the Income Tax to be imposed on the compensation for labor of the average working man, this Amendment was not properly added to the U.S. Constitution.
The IRS, under our U.S. Constitution, cannot legally require information on 1040 returns from individuals -- this is the reason why the IRS continually refers to the income tax as "voluntary."

I guess all those that tried to prove it before should have just come to you.
That is why the 21st amendment repealed the 18th amendment before it could take effect. There are also plenty of Supreme Court rulings that have stated that the 16th amendment gave no new taxing authority to the US goverment
