Romney's a rich white guy. Is that a bad thing??

Some people criticize Mitt Romney and label him out of touch with the 'common man' because of his wealth. He is very wealthy and made his wealth on Wall Street. He worked hard, made investments, and made a profit for himself, the company and the shareholders. An American Capitalism story of success.

So, why all the attacks on Romney's money? Why does anyone care what he does or doesn't do with his money? People complain about him not paying enough in taxes when they should be screaming for TAX REFORM instead!!

"But Blue, Warren Buffet says rich people should pay more in taxes?" Mr. Buffet could donate ALL his BILLIONS to the govt and it wouldn't even scratch the national DEBT!!

Okay, so Romney doesn't have to struggle to pay his mortgage. He may be able to send his kids to private schools and colleges. He can afford to buy his wife nice things like Cadillacs. He doesn't worry about the price of gas and groceries like we do.

I thought America was a place where people aspired to a higher standard of living? They worked hard to make a better life for themselves and their children. They frowned upon depending on the govt for assistance. And most of all, they celebrated the success of others and were proud of capitalism.

The economy is the central issue of this election and attacking a candidate's personal success in his business career is only a distraction. Let's stick to the issues.

So what if Mitt Romney is a rich white guy? Is that really such a bad thing?

#1 Romeny is both Caucasian AND Latino (why can't potential presidents lately just come clean about that - I mean, honestly, its like 0bama not being able to admit he's not only Caucasian but African AND Arabian). #2 Being rich is not a crime (unless you're rich off of ill-gotten gains), but it oftentimes does mean being entirely out of touch with the 'middle class'. So in that regard, yes, a filthy rich guy of ANY race or mix thereof has no business being a lawmaker let alone POTUS because their subjectivity is skewered, they cannot relate to the vast majority of We The People and have NO IDEA what we need or else even want.

not sure romney is latino, his dad was born in mexico but thats it really. as for obama I'm not noticing any arabic features on him. if any it's rather far back in the bloodline.

In that case, he is every bit as ineligible as Barry Soetoro. Natural-Born Citizenship is inherited not through just one parent, but both. That means Mittens here has dual-citizenship... and we already have Exhibit A in the Oval Office proving why that's a bad idea.

once again, i see no Arabic features on him. is it because if his name you are claiming that? his grandfather was a christian, converted to islam. and his dad later became atheist. but the fact obama is religious himself slightly baffles me. think it might of had something to do with his grandparents on his moms side.

According to this journalist, the president is 50% Caucasian, 43.75% Arabic and 6.25% African Negro. I have seen these numbers in several places over the past few years.

For Romney personally it is. He has been a rich cocoon his whole life, and he cannot relate to the interests of average folks at all, nor have any concept of how to help their plights. He has provided numerous examples of it on the campaign trail sitting down with people at his events.

Why worry about Romneys success. Be glad that he's contributed to the system, NOT leeched of it! Worry about what YOU can do for your Country and what YOU can give back! Let Romney's success be an example! Don't be a taker, be a giver!

It is not that he made a lot of money. Its that he thinks he is so far above everyone it is pathetic. Love the response he has received from a couple of small restaurants where he hosted a meeting, The owners were not impressed with him.
