Sure it'll probably energize the conservative base but at the expense of further alienating the independent/centrist voters that Romney was already struggling with. paul ryan political cartoon

Ryan isn't my 1st choice but this isn't about Ryan it's about taking back our country from a socialist/communist/Marxist what ever the hell you want to call this president .

Ryan will cement Romney's hold on the right wing of the Republican Party. Unfortunately, this will further alienate those Republicans like myself who are looking for a party which believes in core Republican values such as investing in education, public infrastructure and public education...values expressed by Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, and other individuals who created the GOP.

So just thumb your nose up and stay at home or vote Obama back in . Ryan wasn't my 1st choice but this election is about defeating Obama .

I will vote for someone with Republican values....after all Obama passed the health care reform plan proposed by Eisenhower and Nixon; Obama has supported investment in public infrastructure and State Universities like Lincoln and other early presidents; so when I vote for Obama, I will be voting for Republican values and against the values of "cotton whigs" like Ryan. The Republican Party was created to defeat these Southern elitists.

    Ken WANTS Obama back in.

    Read his backlog of commentary.

He does this sort of "I am a Republican, so I will be supporting Obama" thing very often.

    Implicitly if not explicitly.

And, not only does he label himself a "lifelong" Republican, he labels himself on Sodahead as a "conservative" -- not on his profile, but within his commentary.

And finally, he touts himself as one who does not like political "labels".

His critical commentary is most frequently aimed at Republicans and conservatives.
His favorable commentary is aimed at the Obama administration and liberal-leaning policy.
    He criticizes anything anti-Obama.
And he is quick to subtly imply his Sodahead opposition as idiotic, un-American, or "one who does not agree with the American form of government".

He seems to be a typical, political hack with very lengthy, wordy, pro-Obama commentary.

Obama took over the Presidency when it was in a bad place & we knew no matter how good his decisions were, things would get worse before they got better, he stated that himself.
And lets not forget about the Repub. congress blocking anything that may have helped even if they believed in it, just to make Obama look bad, Do you call that representing the people?
  • Rod JULIE 2012/08/11 14:57:56

You have conveniently forgotten that Obama controlled the House, the Senate, and the White House with super majorities for the first two years of Obama's administration. The Democrats are the biggest obstructionists in the government. Obama promised to cut the deficit in half. Obama promised the the unemployment rate would be below 6%. Obama promised to balance the budget. I could go on and on but you probably would blame Bush for all of Obama's failures. You probably believe that Obama is a success.

Asserting that Obama had a "super majority" is a popular thing to do, but it is false.

I'm middle class and my whole family will vote for Romney/Ryan. Obama can't win a second term because he has been such a failure. Most Americans don't like how he is bankrupting the country and ruining the economy.

Have you seen the Ryan budget?
  • Bob DiN JULIE 2012/08/11 16:17:00
    Bob DiN
Yes I have seen the Ryan budget and for the most part I like it. It maybe harsh in some areas but also much needed. Remember we have a historic $16.3 national deficit and growing. That also does NOT include unfunded liabilities. You can thank the socialist tax and spenders for that. Already several big cities and counties have gone bankrupt and can't even provide basic sevices. We are on the road to Greece without the olives just the pits. What's most important Ryan budget avoids default. His budget is kind compared to default.

Why is that funny..? That is an incredibly depressing fact, that isn't fact at all. I know (due to your conditioning) you are already deaf to anything I'm about to say but, Ron Paul won the 50%+ majority of delegates in states he got around 4% of the straw vote in. How does that happen without massive voter fraud..? Answer... it doesn't. Ron Paul was supposed to be the first out, he's the last in, and the people kept him there despite never before seen opposition from all angles. Why is the ENTIRE establishment so steadfastly against 1 harmless nobody..? IT... DOESN'T... MAKE... SENSE...! His message hasn't changed in 30 years, mitts changes daily. Lol... again depressing facts that aren't funny.

He's still in the running... Romney has 800 delegates and Paul has 600... I don't know why everyone is so brainwashed by the news.? 100k people are estimated to turn out for PaulFest (A grassroots organized celebration of The Liberty Movement).

I did not know Ron Paul had that many delegates, but if so it should be a brokered convention. I hope Ron Paul people don't give up the Liberty Movement regardless. At the very least they have exposed the fraudulent way the media blacks out the voice of the people.
