I would love to see Ryan and Biden in a debate. That would tell you whether it was a good choice or not. I would much rather have Ryan second in command than poor Biden.

I think that Ryan is a great choice, but then I am conservative. The independent vote is not going to go form him and neither is the Democrats that are sitting on the fence. A Rubio would have been a better choice to get votes.

I heard Ryan's speech this morning and I am quite pleased with this selection. Anyone that does not have a socialist agenda is okay by me.

Republicans are already complaining over the automatic cuts to military defense spending and Democrats are saying nothing about the automatic cuts to Medicare and Medicaid put in place after the debt ceiling crisis in 2011. BUT the Ryan budget is far more devastating to the social safety net and does not include any tax reform to bring in more revenue. America already said no and we will say no again in November.

Do you really think that the nation can keep on paying for the dependence of others to live off of? This country is heading the way of Greece. The Dems and Obama have not done anything to bring down our national debt (Yes, I am pissed that the Reps spent like drunken sailors). Enough is enough, start living within our means and cut the damn spending. Les us first stop all the damn hand outs to other countries and help our country first. I see the Dems are only pushing for dependency on government. Government has gotten us into the fracken mess.

That has absolutely nothing to do with what I stated.....

But I'll bet you that there will be a lot of Republicans that go into the voting booth and secretly cast their vote for the Democrats. You can bank on that.

If Romney want to be President he must win Florida! Marco Rubio is the right choice for that! Paul Ryan needs to be the Speaker Of the House. He can control the agenda and control the laws going thought the House. That would be the best situation.

We already know what the Ryan budget will do to medicare and social security, and there's nothing they can say to erase that plan from the minds of the American voter. This is aleady ringing my ears with that ever predictable "read my lips" line they're famous for.

What happens when these two economic mental giants fix the economy in three months? LOL! They then have to deal with the whole pizza, including foreign policy. Another war to pad the wallets of defense contractors at the expense of more American blood? Mitt wouldn't bat an eye. Both of these clowns are one dimensional without a clue or a hope for the middle class. The only credibility Ryan had is already being shrugged off as he embraces the etch a sketch. Enough voters will see right through these snake oil salesmen for what they are.

What?? You think that this cluster f**k that Obama has made can be fixed in three months - get a grip. It will take many many years to fix this mess but they will get us on the path. May be the only chance we have.

Three months is what Romney is saying, but you know the story Jackie. This cluster f**k you call Obama's fault is still the residue of Bush, and we all knew from the start it could take more than one term to fix, possibly two, and it could go on from there. Hell, America may never recover from Bush. The most reasonable and safest path to follow is already in progress if you can convince those treasonous bastards in the house to compromise and start thinking of people before politics!

Bush has not been in office for nearly 4 years - get a damn grip.

Obama's "achievements" read as follows: 42 months of 8+% unemployment -- 10% for hispanics and 14.7% for blacks; 23 million unemployed, underemployed, and given up; GSP continues to slide downhill to now 1.5; debt and deficit rising as a rate never seen in the recorded history of this nation - that is the man's record. AND he has the gaul to say his plan is working -- well, in all fairness, if his plan is the collapse of this nation; it is indeed working.

Time for this incompetent to go!

LOL....more tax cuts for the wealthy while balancing the budget on the backs of the working poor and middle class while gutting govt. safety net programs when people need them more than ever. His plan was rejected and it will be again along with a possible Mitt Romney presidency. Mitt Romney's been losing independent/centrist voters the past few weeks and now his choice of a controversial VP like Paul Ryan will alienate them even further.

I look at this way. Ryan is good choice for people who have ever had to meet a pay roll or have a decent credit rating. You know, people who while not rich, have a concept of a budget. Seriously look at medicare. It makes the Social Security system seem to be rock solid in comparison.

President Obama has absolutely NO plan at all of how he is going to resolve these issues that just can't be ignored any longer. If the President managed to get every tax increase he has asked for, the amounts of revenue from them is TINY compared to what we are spending. I have to admit that personally, I just can't see how the country is going to avoid an economic disaster if we don't bring spending under control.

Paul Ryan has put forward some common sense budget solutions that may make some like my elderly mother and soon myself pay more for our health care. Do I like that? No I don't but I am able to run to operate a calculater and realise reality when I see the numbers.
