Except, btw, I have been working since I was 16, and that's 47 years and I'm eligible for social security, now and guess what, I'm not sending one of those checks back because I feel guilty for collecting them! Even if I don't end up having to pay income tax on them.

We are a nation in decline in great part because of the bloated government and its selling of welfare programs. I do not know that since I did not work for Romney and neither do you. Try to rationalize on the job that Obama has not done that we have paid him to do that is my concern. I have not seen proof of anything except the success Romney made in the Olympics AT NO PAY, the years that he did service for his church in France NO PAY, Governor NO PAY and the money he made is thru investments. I cannot see anything wrong with working the hours he has worked and they have raised 5 boys that are not in jails and never have been. Can we all say that we have done our best and are not dependant upon the government in our old age I doubt it.

What was absurd about my post? Romney says half of the population of our country are unworthy of his attention. He went to the UK and promptly insulted the entire country. Can you name ANY candidate to be POTUS that has such a record? The guy puts his money in foreign banks, which helps their economy not ours. He said Detroit should go bankrupt and so the auto industry could be sold off to the highest bidders. Then after Obama rescued the auto industry he said that he was glad that Obama took his advice.
What has Mitt Romney contributed to society? He was born to affluent parents, got an Ivy League education, and went to work creating wealth for himself and investors.
Obama was born in a low income family, never knew his father and is black. He worked hard and after an Ivy League education, went to work as a communtity organizer. Obama could have had a very high paying job as a corporate lawyer, he could have chosen a life that sought wealth.

I have a college degree but have been so underpaid for years while trying to raise a child on my own that I haven't earned enough to pay taxes.

I am currently unemployed, but I sell stuff online to (barely) make ends meet instead of taking handouts from the government, and I still don't make enough to pay taxes.

Romney does not care about me, and I will NEVER vote for him.
