Obama has released his tax returns, which was his obligation to those who are interested in where and how he earned income. Mitten must do the same else suffer the obvious consequences of being considered an untrustworthy pillager of the poor, or perhaps a criminal tax evader. I don't think the voters care if Mitten is circumcised or when he was baptized or "confirmed" in the Inner Temple, or when he acquired an elevator for his auto, or how many homes he has in the United States. The voters have asked for his tax returns and he can grit his teeth and hold onto the sinking ship if he wants.

I did answer the question, but more directly - no, Obama will not have his private records "unsealed" for the purposes of exciting RWNJs in a frenzy of speculations and absurd allegations. He is as much entitled to a private life as you or I, or any citizen.

Actually, the revelations of the income tax returns is nothing more than a custom, not required by law. But, as Mitten's father once said "Anyone refusing to reveal their income tax returns has something to hide and should not be trusted in public office", or words to that effect. I think George might have been a visionary, knowing his son was not to be trusted as he was already plundering the public with his hedge fund.

I believe the main Romney tax record issue is his taxes from the past decade, not details on his 2011 taxes.
