The man who told Todd Akin that rapes do not lead to pregnancy is Dr. Jack Willke, a well known long time abortion opponent. In 2007, Mitt Romney said he was proud to have Willke's support.

It's no longer 2007. What does Romney say about Dr. Willke today?

If Romney has distanced himself from Akin and doesn't repudiate Dr. Willke as well, he'll just look like a fool. If he does repudiate Willke, he'll lose a supporter. So, no problem. :)

Where are the Tax Returns ? Why is Mitt Romney Spending Millions of dollars with a team of lawyers to hide his Tax Returns ? Mitt Romney's Father was born in Mexico. According to the Tea Party he is NOT a Natural Born Citizen.

You'd have more credability and support if you denounced the RWNJs and let them create their own party.Their use of the Republican brand gives these Nutjobs,instant status.And you quite the reverse.How can we believe you,when the Republican Platform supports his statements,War on Women,Seniors,Latins,etc.?J isn't interesting who is in the TOP POSITION of Power and Control of the government should the RWNJs win?

Todd Akin is an extremist who wasn't supposed to win in the primary. His party knows that Missouri is a right leaning centrist state. An extremist like Akin is going to hand this election to McCaskill. That is why the party is pulling their money. She has been a great Senator and I hope she wins anyway.

Romney is very weak with his base. He has brought an extremist onto his ticket to shore up his eroding base. He is now supporting Akin for the same reason. Akin will continue to gaff because these are not mistakes, these are his beliefs. He wont even realize they are gaffs until they blow up. This is going to be one of those fun races to watch.
