Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) claimed Romney didn't pay taxes. Well, Romney did pay taxes -- and he paid a lot of taxes. Romney paid $1.9 million in taxes -- Romney voluntarily paid more than required by IRS law.

(CNN) - Sen. Harry Reid said nothing of his earlier claims that Mitt Romney had not paid taxes over a ten-year span in a Friday statement joining Democrats in responding to Romney's release of tax-related documents on Friday.

I love Harry Reid. And guess what he is also required to give 10% of his earnings to the mormon church also. As most other churches require it's members to do. What none of you God fearing gun totin people on here pay your tithes?

BTW he is preparing to release his 2003 - 2009 taxes once all the information is prepared and finished.

Another fact-free bagger here. He gave 4 million to mostly his church. The church requires that he give 10% to them . He deducted 2.5 million only so that he could keep his word that he never paid less than 13.9% in taxes. If he would have deducted the entire 4 million it would have made him a liar because it would have been somewhere aroung 9 or 10 % . He also has three years to go back and claim the other millions with an amnended return. By the way Harry also has to give 10% of his money to the church. Almost all churches require this of their members,.

The church doesn't "require" it at all. It is a tithe and if you can do it you should but it is not a requirement; this shows how little you know of churches and religion. What difference does it make how much he gave to his church, he gave to charity and that is the point. Matter of fact that Romney gave close to 40% of his adjusted income to charity and taxes. Changing facts doesn't make them not true just makes you a liberal hater.
